I swear the refs are never this alert to Spanish feckery whenever we play them.

Wouldn’t you prefer us to win the league under ETH with Pep still as city manager? And Klopp at pool?

It’s far more satisfying, and impressive to boot.

I think it takes a lot a way from winning the title again if we only manage to do it once those two have departed.
Really ? ?

We aren't winning the league in the foreseeable future regardless of who's managing City or Liverpool.

City should possibly have two red cards in that half, ridiculous reffing

It’s also far, faaaaarrr more unlikely.

I’m also pretty sure Liverpool don’t feel that their recent title win was diminished by them having to wait until fergie retired to win the league again.

If City sit back for another 45 they'll go through easily. This Madrid team has nothing in attack. I think Pep's figured it out to and so they always have most of their men back.

It's why I really wanted Chelsea to go through, this Madrid team aside from like 3 players is really poor.

Playing Valverde when you need a goal..

It's the redness of his face, isn't it? That's the give away with him.
Yeah, someone made a joke about him having a built in stamina bar or something similar.

Aside from that , looked bit frustrated to me.

City escaped at least one red card. And VAR doesn't get involved at all...

City are a great team, in defence and attack, very quick on the ball and playing as a unit, but what surprises me the most is how quick they are without the ball. They never seem to tire of pressing and they pull themselves together very easily, and our physical trainer is one of the best, at the height of the season and with everything we have problems with every ball in dispute.
Walker is controlling Vini very well. For the second half Casemiro out before the red card and Rodrygo in, and maybe Ceballos? Asensio to shoot from distance? Camavinga+Rodrygo instead Kroos+Case?

Do you want Liverpool winning leagues year in year out? Because that's how you get Liverpool winning leagues year in year out...
Or it gives other teams a chance to compete… I think Liverpool will be easier to compete with then city… city have unlimited money with guardiola.

Yeah I don't know why ancelloti is insisting with kroos.

How come Laporte wasn't sent off? He hit Modric in the face. Seemingly intentionally. Even the attempt to do so is a red card as far as I know. Sounds absolutely scandalous that VAR didn't step in.

Guaranteed especially after Villareal one was denied

I'm going with dodgy gk blunder...
It was a blunder by the keeper to get them back in the game. I don't know what's worse City or the scum winning it, I'm going for the latter

Feel like Vini needs to keep isolating Walker, he’s a great defender but he gets his blinkers on about loving the one on one duels/foot races and I reckon there’s a pen in there. Kind of feels there’s a card coming for either side as well which will open things up.

You genuinely don’t think they’d have enjoyed it far more had they done it whilst Fergie was still manager here? Especially with his perch comments.

They also did win it in competition with Pep’s City, so still fairly impressive. Annoyingly.

It's weird. There's been a few incidents like that lately and VAR aren't looking at them.
