Real surely have to start Camavinga? for the legs if not the quality.... though can't see Carlo dropping Kroos.

Vinicius v TAA will be the key battle in this one.

If he's in the mood he could get a lot of joy down their right side.

I don't think we'll be destroyed, I can imagine an even match in which without the Bernabéu we'll lose that extra.
I would say they are slight favourites.
I don't think having to compete for the Premier is going to affect them more than us having three weeks with nothing to do.
This could have a poetic final, epic comebacks game after game and end up dying on the shore.

Is this just the 2nd time that Real have gone into a Champions League final (in the modern day CL era) as the underdogs? I assume that Juve were the big favourites in 1998, and that they would have been favourites vs. Valencia in 2000 despite finishing 5th in La Liga?

Liverpool are better team but Real Madrid are Real Madrid. I think they have better chance against Liverpool.

It feels like Liverpool are the giants and Madrid are the underdogs.

I kind of like it.

I feel like it will put a bit of pressure on Liverpool on the night, particularly because RM beat them when Liverpool were still growing and now things have arguably changed a little bit.

Madrid have been fantastic to watch this season in the champions league. Never say die attitude and kept on fighting to the end, I hope they can dig deep one more time to win it, they deserve it.

Hopefully Ramos taught somebody else his Fujiwara armbar before he left.
No need, Salah will be locked away on Mendy Island. It's Mane that terrifies me

Never when the name was changed to CL.
We won each final we reached.

I don't fear Liverpool. We beat them in quaters last year before losing the semis to Chelsea.

We won't lose this final. Don't worry United fans.
Well we pin our hopes on you lot.

Speaking of which, Carvajal completed a great game yesterday. Reminded me of the Carvajal of 2017 even. I hope he can keep this level and does not pick injuries anymore because at his current form he can be a game changer on both ends of the pitch.

Diaz is who should concern you. He'll play on the left if he's fit. Mane will most likely play through the middle.

Klopp is too good. I know Ancelotti has ultimate CL pedigree, but Klopp has always been brilliant and he has his team fully tuned. Our only hope is Benzema.

Get a Liverpool player sent off early in the game. That'll make it the spectacle we all need.

You did. We had Phillips and Kabak on defense though.

We all love United
What worries me is that Real do not have prime Ronaldo and Bale (and Karius) to do damage to that scouse lot anymore. But Real have such elite mentality especially in this competition that i hope it pushes them through

The weird stats keep on coming. Apparently Liverpool have always played a team playing in white in the European/Champions League final. That continues with this one.

Who knows how the starting 11 will be this time. Liverpool has a title to fight for and they have to risk the health of every player. RM have nothing else to play for.

Watching Kick Off the Liverpool fan said he dislikes Real as they're arrogant and stand for what he doesn't want his team to. I don't particularly like Madrid but I'm not sure what he's on about.

Real Madrid getting to the final has a big chunk of luck attached to it. They've played well for bout 15 minutes across the last three rounds.
Have you seen their opponents? Talking about luck when the dippers have had the easiest road to the final I’ve ever seen. The lack of self awareness is quite significant with you.

One thing I'm impressed with Real's players is their technical ability. They can come out of very tight spaces with absolute ease and turn to counter.
A team like that should never be underestimated, no matter how good Liverpool are.

Surely Bale has to motivate himself to make the Final squad now?
If I was Real, with the league wrapped up, I'd be keeping my key players wrapped in cotton wool and playing the guys who are there to make up the numbers
Surely that includes the likes of Bale
It's his final season, come on Gareth, another two goals in the final against Liverpool would be a fitting send off

Good luck lads, I’ll be all with you. Think Carlo will win his fourth and make a statement.

Bale is out, even if he wanted to show up just for spite and personal glory, Rodrygo has taken his place now.

Something i want to mention, the toughness of the draw.

Obviously, there are no "bad" teams in the latter rounds of CL, but RMs draws since group stages needs no mentioning.

Liverpool faced a decent Inter side, Benefica, and then Villarreal. They've only had to really face adversity once, against Villarreal, and fair play, they put the game to bed convincingly in the 2nd half, but Villarreal are hardly City or Chelsea either.

RM has had to face adversity in just about every single knock-out game, and come out on top, and that instills a certain, "mentality", you could say.

Now, obviously Liverpool has certainly faced adversity domestically though, while RM has had less so this season, but just a thought.

Liverpool has had an Europa league level run to the final.

Most Liverpool Fans and pundits think they have won the CL already. A bit similar to the last time they met in the final.
What? Real were massive favourites in the last final we played.

Who is the LB that will have no support against Salah because Vinicius is caught up front. Genuine question as I haven't watched Madrid much.

Also Vinicius has little problem tracking back if it's required of the game plan. He's like Mane, can run for days

Ultimately i think the game will be decided by set pieces
