You'd have to question Gerrard's motives if he can convince his side to turn it on against City, but have them playing like relegation fodder for the rest of the season.

Rodri at CB I presume now unless they're just thinking we'll camp on edge of our box and not have anyone cross halfway line.

Edit: Didn't realise Stones was playing.

This City choke job has been impressive. How many chances to kill the league? They should have beaten Liverpool at their place a few weeks ago. Then there was the missed peno last week. But still they’ve got Villa and home and they’re going to fail there now too? That’s before we even discuss them in Europe. Don’t wanna hear them be talked about as one of the great sides.

To be fair Villa haven’t been anything special, City have just been terrible. They still had their token 75% possession they’ve just done nothing with it.

What a horrible season and of course it ends badly

Finishing outside of Europa spot and Liverpool likely to win the quadruple. How embarrassing

If we're being honest, Liverpool deserve the lot and City deserve feck all this season. Doesn't make it any harder to swallow.
City have scored more and conceded less than Liverpool in the league. Why do Liverpool "deserve" it?

Wonder what the PL has told Michael Oliver, the ref at City v Villa, during the halftime.

Pep continues to get in his own way and concedes a mistake by subbing Fernandinho for a natural fullback in Zinchenko
