The number of Pens Kane has scored for England is absurd. It's so much more than anyone else.
Surely that becomes obsolete if there’s a pen / possible pen?

Schlotterbeck tripped and fell on his leg so it can be seen as a foul...the offside part though is pretty confusing to me.

After the UCL final I thought the whole 'defenders touch needs to be intentional' thing was the rule?
I suppose they'll argue the touch from the Germany defender was intentional but it was a massive miss kick. I don't know any more. The rules confuse me now.

e.g. Kane wasn't offside because he didn't touch or attempt to touch the ball. Offside isn't applicable until he does. He was fouled before then.
If you think about it, it's not like you can go full carnage on a player just because he's offside and get away with it. Foul is a foul

It's a pretty big deflection and the ball comes at the German player from much further away so it's not the same situation at all. I still think Benzema's goal should have stood, mind.
