We never learn by mistakes.
I assume he's referring to Nunez when he talks about targets going elsewhere. Which is going to become a theme now, he's going to be world class and a bargain now Liverpool are supposedly interested, when previously, a lot were unsure he was good enough and we were told he definitely wasn't worth near 100m euros.

Attention seeking twats like this do my head in.

We don't have a clue what's going on, he doesn't have a clue what's going on. It's the same as usual and it's often several years before the truth of any transfer window becomes clear.

That makes no sense though. You don't miss out on a striker because you were chasing a midfielder. The comparables would be Tchouameni who had only Madrid in mind. Gravenberch who only wanted Bayern and then Tielemans and Neves who have both not moved yet.

Who were the players we have pursued recently who didn't want to come to the detriment of other transfer business?

It seems like every player we have pursued seriously over the last 3 years we have eventually got (Bruno, Maguire, AWB, Sancho, Varane)

We wouldn't chase a player all summer who wasn't open to joining us.
You new here? :nervous:

We wanted fellaini and waited for his release clause to expire so we would pay more for him, underestimate our stupidity at your peril:lol:

Its just stupid. Does anyone really know who ETH wants outside his close circle and United team? People are making shit up just to get clicks.
The fecker had a big burst of PR; meeting and greeting everyone from the Press to the United employees.

Then silence. Nobody knows shit other than him and a handful of people.

As a United fan, I am tired of people slagging off my club.

It's following the nonsense belief that we only go after one transfer target at a time.. At least that is what I took from it.

Problem is our club doesn’t seem to have a clue either, as the last decade shows. Naturally supporters are going to be angry and skeptical, it’s been a horrible era for United, so the media will latch on to it and take advantage.

Sounds like we have pulled out? Or more likely we told Barca to feck off and move off onto our alternative targets
I don't think that at all. I think it's once again just posturing.

You need to sell, we won't spend stupid money etc.

Talk about exaggeration. Are we sad that we didn't spend 85m on a player who just had one good season at Portugal ? Other than a striker, which other area is so critical and we are ignoring but our rivals are taking advantage ?

Defence ? No one has signed any defender.

Shame they've all been varying degrees of shite.

When Simon Stone posts something like this, it means the deal is getting closer.

Laying the groundwork/saving face for the stories of us pulling out and moving on to other targets. We've seen this before.
Neh if I remember rightly when Stones says something negative it tends be right before good news.

Jumping on bandwagon to bash United. That tweet makes no sense at all. No players are being signed at the moment by anyone. So we should not pursue good players who have reservation in joining us?

Keep a clean shit tomorrow, United is my final bus

It didn't feel like that when he kept saying Ole was safe, when 90% of fans wanted him gone, and he did survive longer

But I'm pretty sure Stone said similar stuff when we went in for Sancho the first time and he was right. We did leave it that summer as they were asking too much.
