Strange. They have Saka who is one of the best in the league. Their 3 positions behind the striker doesn't need a fix and they are doing this now.Tweet

Around 400k off the wage bill which is fantastic for the finances. I’m surprised but thankful Kenny turned down a new deal. Probably looked at ex players like Garbutt who stayed for too long and realised he can still forge a decent lower league career if he gets his head down. Would be a good signing for a Championship club.Tweet

United should be all over this signing, especially for that price.Looks like things are starting to roll in the PL, maybe we get some work done soon.
Palhinha for £20m looks interesting, surely we should have an interest in a Portugal international at that price?
Fabian Delph statue to be unveiled outside the Etihad soon?Tweet

Really like the look of him. Good move for Spurs if true…do they not want AWB instead?Tweet

AWB is more defensive and so more suited to a back 4. Spurs play with a back 3, and so are more interested in wing-backsReally like the look of him. Good move for Spurs if true…do they not want AWB instead?
I was joking.AWB is more defensive and so more suited to a back 4. Spurs play with a back 3, and so are more interested in wing-backs
Who says we want him?If United were proactive and efficient, he’d already be a United player.
Tbh GB, we’ve not gone after so many obvious targets in the past that it’s a shame he seems to be another one of those.Who says we want him?
I’ve only seen him a bit but for 20m I’d say it’s a gamble. I don’t think it’s in the top 3 of our priorities list anyway so not sure we’d have the 20m left to fund the dealTbh GB, we’ve not gone after so many obvious targets in the past that it’s a shame he seems to be another one of those.
Lot of noise around a possible move away for Saka who’s current deal expires in summer 2024. Arsenal are also linked with Sterling.Strange. They have Saka who is one of the best in the league. Their 3 positions behind the striker doesn't need a fix and they are doing this now.
We should be... that's what I meant.Who says we want him?
Probably. Seriously wouldn't shock me in the slightest if both him and Sterling played for us next season. Might have posted it on these boards week or so ago

would you take him here?
I absolutely would.would you take him here?
Apart from it’s been widely publicised midfield is our and ETHs priority. I imagine once a midfielder or two is secured we’ll see further movement. If United were proactive and efficient, he’d already be a United player.
Yes for sure.would you take him here?

Most likely. We never know what might happen, the window will open. But I’ll probably stay there. I have one more year and the club’s option to extend it. With the qualification for the Champions League, I want to play in the Champions League again, then we’ll see what happens.
In this window there’s a 90% chance I’ll stay there. I’m happy. I was always very happy at Tottenham. Life in England is fantastic, my family and children are used to it. Coming back to the Champions League makes it even easier to continue.

He is at the best club in the world. He is happy with prominence; I don’t see any possibility of change now. They are going to change everything, structure, youth, women’s soccer, everything is going to change.
