Yeah, I know. Spurs do have some very good players, and Conte is a manager who definitely knows what he is doing, and Spurs so far do look like they have his back in the transfer market.
I expect plenty of improvement from Spurs in terms of winning the winnable games this season, but the way Man City has been going in the last few seasons though, unless there is a serious decline in their ability to beat the medium and lower quality teams in the league, then I think it would be very difficult for Spurs to get close because I could see them slipping up more.
One way to definitely get closer though regardless of what Man City do against the smaller teams is to beat them twice like last season. That's a 12-point swing, so it is very possible, and I won't be surprised to see Conte and Spurs win it. He is quality, and Kane, Son and Lloris are capable of winning you plenty of games.
