We are fecked, as usual. Too good to be true, dicking around a big signing has never worked out for any club. Chelsea are looking for marquee signings with their new owners, they seem to negotiate on multiple fronts.
They sound almost Woodward like tbf.

The efficient Marina Granovskaia is long gone. This is a different Chelsea now.

We’re also negotiating on multiple fronts. We’ve signed Malacia, have an agreement to sign Eriksen and are currently negotiating with Ajax for Martinez all while being in talks with Barca for de Jong. I don’t know where this bollocks comes from.

Yeah, I just think the saying you have for-go it to move seems unlikely to be enforceable. Might be wrong, but I think that's litigation city.
If he agrees it by contract (settlement agreement) i.e. full and final settlement, he waives his right to any future claim for reimbursement. Why he would do that is more the issue.

Yet they’ve signed no one yet and have been muddling their way through the window..

Scattergun, panicking and clueless
That may be true, but i dont care about their approach and them in general, but we cannot let them hijack our main target we worked on for so long. They are dangerous in the market, exactly because they dont know what they are doing.

United have signed Malacia and are about to seal Eriksen.

Chelsea have signed no one yet Sterling looks close. They’ve tried for Raphinha then Richarlison then back to Sterling. Then De Ligt then on to Kounde and now Ronaldo and De Jong…

I mean posters here lauding them when it’s clear they’ve got no idea and are struggling massively. All after losing Rudiger, Christensen and Lukaku (with Azipilcueta and Alonso not far behind)

If I were Barca, Frenkie's agent or someone on Twitter trying to get attention, I'd be loving these stories. It's not a coincidence.

Barcelona are the equivalent of Boris Johnson. Trying to plow on telling everyone that everything is fine.

"We're shite, we're unable to negotiate on multiple deals at the same time"....all this when there's literal evidence that, that is exactly what we've been doing. Fecking hell.

How have United fecked about exactly? The impasse is around the wages he is owned by Barca. Are Chelsea going to lift the transfer fee to pay those wages?
Wouldn’t be at all surprised if Chelsea find a way to sort his money owed and get it done.

Even if Chelsea want him they'll still have the same issue that we have with Barcelona and those deferred wages he's owed

Not exactly what that article said... they said they'd offer that but Barca want cash so it's a no go. Love how these accounts twist stuff
I think aggregator accounts should be banned, they often misquote or take quotes out of context

It was never a realistic transfer for us to pull off if we're being honest and we really shouldn't have indulged ETH on this one. Bissouma and Sangare are the types of players we needed to be looking at. Picking Chelsea over us is a no-brainer right now so I'd say it's over.

Laurie Whitwell suggests (possibly more opinion) that Barca and United are disagreeing over who pays the outstanding wages.
Jesus Christ, surely they can't expect us to pay for his outstanding wages.

I thought United were prepared to walk away. This whole saga is complete bollocks.

The longer you take to close a deal, the more chance another club comes in

Lets entertain this bullshit for a second. If you actually put two and two together, chelski would still need to wait for Frenkie and barca to sort out the deferred wage payment. Thats if they can even afford his transfer fee.

Also, do you ACTUALLY think we would have gone this far without Frenkie already telling Ten Hag he wants to come? Literally every tier 1 source has reported that a deal/fee has been agreed with barca. The hold up isn't with us. Its with the player and his soon to be former club.

Any Chelsea tier 1 sources reporting this or are we only hearing this from Barca mouthpieces?
Are you implying that Barca are spreading false rumours to urge United to up their offer and meet their inflated valuation? That a club nearing a state of financial ruin would pull out every trick in the book to make as much money from this transfer as humanly possible?

Hmm, maybe you're right.
