Omg jinxMini Modric
Real Zidane.Mini Modric
I agree with you. He’s one player I really want to see/hope makes it here. I’m British-Asian myself and it feels so proud seeing someone from the same background as me playing for Manchester United.
I thought he was very good. Very calm, composed and didn’t feel intimidated when Liverpool brought on the likes of Fabinho, Thiago etc.
Without getting carried away, that is quite reminiscent of De Jong.Tweet

Agreed, bit weird for others to possibly read but it's almost emotional to see it. Been wanting to see a south Asian do it for so long. He’s one player I really want to see/hope makes it here. A lot of British south Asians will be rooting for him. It’s just brilliant for the community to see someone from the same background as ourselves representing one of the biggest clubs in the world and not looking like if he is out of his depth at this level. Everyone wants to see him make it as he’ll be such an inspiration to so many young British south Asian football players if he does.Agreed, bit weird for others to possibly read but it's almost emotional to see it. Will be fantastic for him to train alongside FDJWithout getting carried away, that is quite reminiscent of De Jong.
Technical, he’s very good with the ball at feet. Very good dribbler. Silky. As someone who hasn’t seen him play before, what are his strengths?
Is he purely a technical player or are there some tackles in him as well?
FdJ is his favourite player!Without getting carried away, that is quite reminiscent of De Jong.
Technically gifted lad. Not a hard-tackling player but one that can decide outcome of the game. If properly nurtured under ETH, I see him doing wondersAs someone who hasn’t seen him play before, what are his strengths?

The pass was on and he almost threaded the needle. Wouldn’t criticise him for it.It's the bit he did next that he needs to sort out.
Yea there's still plenty of work no doubt. His long passing was a bit mixed. The talent is there though. It's the bit he did next that he needs to sort out.

It’s kind of mad how few role models there’s been for South Asian kids until now. You wonder if it just takes one player to break the mould and then the floodgates open. Hopefully Iqbal can blaze a trail!A lot of British south Asians will be rooting for him. We all know so many youngsters come through this academy that look good at youth/reserve league level but not all of them will make it as some may just not be quite good enough to make that step-up to the 1st team. The jump from youth/reserve football to 1st team football is a gigantic one, particularly when it comes to clubs like ourselves.
Liverpool set the trap well and you could see it on TV. I don't want to criticise after a good performance but just think it's something to work on. Tighten up passes, make the right decisions. Typical stuff for a young player. The pass was on and he almost threaded the needle. Wouldn’t criticise him for it.

Sure will be. A great education. Will be fantastic for him to train alongside FDJ
yes, mix between prime Messi and XaviWow, kid is great. Didn't knew that. So he is some kind of central midfield playmaker. Mix between 8 and 10?
Oh that's interesting. Not a bad player to try and emulate.FdJ is his favourite player!
Any full game compilations yet
Thanks man
So, Iniesta?yes, mix between prime Messi and Xavi
