I still think €67M is too much for him, but depending on the addons it might never reach that number, so I suppose decent deal overall.

With their best players gone, I think Leeds are surely headed for relegation next year, which is such a shame. Easy 6 points gone.

Barca overpaying YET AGAIN for another player. Surprise surprise! Hope they go bankrupt like Bayern said.

RW - Dembele / Raphina
LW - Ansu Fati / Ferran Torres
CF - Lewa / Auba

Is that really necessary? Depay on the books as well.

If add ons reached they surely got some player I assume. But knowing Barca they even beg raphinha not to reach those heights or just will stop him play.

Leeds got his replacement not too bad Sinisterra from feyenoord will be okay I think.

Especially when they need to offload a significant wage (FdJ) and have spots to register net new signings like Raphinha, Christensen before him, and potentially Lewendowski.

No after what romano said his last youtube video posted 2130 he says Frankie want to stay but don't want to lower salary. Dont want to leave but the deal is advance stage. Have to convince Frankie

Raphinha is overrated and Barcelona have overpaid (I know, shocker)

Leeds have already brought in Kristensen, Adams, Roca, Sinisterra and Aaronson. Even losing Raphinha and Philips, they should have a much better first eleven than last season.

Any Barca fans Care to explain why they need Raphinha when they are re-signing Dembele ? Also signing Lewa for 45m (3 year contract) and they already have Auba . Spent 50m on Torres in Jan .

No wonder why they are in such a huge mess.

Frankie doesn't have a say in this anymore. For a player who has been speaking intently with his former manager, United's current manager in EtH, Frankie will be forced to leave due to things outside of his control.

It is clearly obvious that FdJ has given personal assurances to EtH that he will indeed leave Barcelona against his will, only because he has been deemed surplus to Xavi's requirements (which is debatable) and that Barca have a lot of financial issues (massive issues - borrowing against future value at a discount to help in the present is not good and shows how desperate/crap their financial state is). Especially for a player who is knowingly being played out of his best/preferred position, he's expendable to Barca. And he's also being made a sacrificial financial lamb.

Poor buy. Chelsea done well to steer clear and got a better player in Sterling.
It wasn't one or the other, they wanted both.

Barca was always his first choice, Chelsea was back up plan.

Well I’m glad that one is over. How he’s worth that much I dunno
Yep. I rate him below Antony and I wouldn't want us to pay more than €60M for Antony. And Raphinha is older to boot. He is not worth that price. Good player, but nothing special. Crazy that Barcelona can be in such a dire situation and still afford to overpay like this.

Oh I know; but I feel Chelsea dodged a bullet. He's more Depay level than anything.
I think he is at least a level above Depay. Few rate him way too highly, like he is some elite player. IMO it's good that he is going to Barca. Raphinha and Sterling would have been hard to contain as both are very good dribblers.

Yeah, worded it badly. I meant Chelsea got a much better player in Sterling, and dodged a bullet with Raphinha.

They should be looking at another Sterling level player, and not a player at Raphinha's level. Though it seems options are limited tbf.

We'll see; I'm not saying he won't prove me wrong. However, I see him as no more than a Depay level player. Nothing wrong with that, as he'll make a perfectly good squad player for any team striving to get back to the top. Ultimately, I think he'll eventually end up a squaddie and be shipped out in 2 to 3 years.

From what I’ve read, their money problems etc I just don’t know how this is allowed to happen, it’s fecking weird.
Could you imagine, not being paid anything like your full salary for years, not getting your bonuses paid, being owed at least €17m, because your club are skint, only for that club to then go out slapping a €58m bid for Rafinha.
Not to even mention the splurge on Lewandowski, Kessie & Christensen, but they can't afford to pay their debts to current players..?!?!

Crisis, what crisis? The jokers seem to have no money yet have spent over 115 million on Raphinha and Torres in the space of 6 months.
