That would be doubling our losses. No De Jong and a bang average alternative.Cut our loses and sign Neves from Wolves instead

It’s absolutely mental due to the deferred wages thing, it’s so rate for a transfer to hang on negotiations between the player and his current club.I don't think i've seen a transfer like this ever
One hour he's staying, the next he's leaving.
I bet he is heartbroken. Crying in his Thai hotel room he is. Training cancelled today, can’t face the cameras!
Poor Ten Hag. At least he's lucky he has 2 more strikes.
When was it ever widely reported that we’d agreed a fee? This is very similar to the Sneijder saga in that it’s the same crap being reported over and over that never seems to get any further down the line.
I feel very grateful that I didn't know about the Caf at that point in my life It was much easier to not get sucked into transfer window sagasOh child, I go as far back as Ronaldinho for my breaking point.
Why would domenech be quoting flewers? WeirdI am torn as this is good news, but Terry Flewers is a wannabe Romano.
Yeah, probably. What a start to the season. Already one strike down.I bet he is heartbroken. Crying in his Thai hotel room he is. Training cancelled today, can’t face the cameras!
It absolutely is not getting done that quick. With 2 lads spotted at Barcelona head offices I would say this transfer going in the right direction.
3 weeks till season kicks off so Ten Hag will want him in asap, training and couple of friendlies under his belt and ready to go.
It's up there. It's so... dull? Our worst transfer saga was the one where we ended up signing Alexis Sanchez. This is by far the worse transfer saga we've had.
I'm sure, think he'll go to the top. Can see him being moulded into a Gerrard type player actually. Great a driving forward with the ball, scores goals, good passing. You sure about this? Ramsey is nowhere near the level of Frenkie
The Kluivert saga broke me, until we signed Yorke and won the trebleOh child, I go as far back as Ronaldinho for my breaking point.
This works both ways tbf, you've latched onto any positive spin that's tweeted and use it to bash down other posters who believe otherwise on this deal.It seems like every negative tweet is siezed upon as the absolute truth.
Fair point, but the negatives are just rehashed news with bits and pieces added to spruce it up a little. This works both ways tbf, you've latched onto any positive spin that's tweeted and use it to bash down other posters who believe otherwise on this deal.
TBF, Ducker and Dawson have tweeted nothing new today at all other than FDJ wants money owed to him, we knew that about a month ago.
I meant more him getting clout through domenech, but nevermindWhy would domenech be quoting flewers? Weird
Ian Storey-Moore was a bizarre one. Shame he was a crock; he was a lovely player.Shearer for me.
Potentially but not right now. We need somebody for now.I'm sure, think he'll go to the top. Can see him being moulded into a Gerrard type player actually. Great a driving forward with the ball, scores goals, good passing.
Was that before or after he told everyone he was stayingDomenech reporting that his farewell is in order even with him in training after he reported the agreement between clubs earlier this week
Or his third option, do neither of them. They can't force him out if he digs his heels in and they can't force him to reduce his wages/forfeit the money they owe. Barcelona have to be the bad guys they always try not to show themselves to be if they want him outAgain, negative so it must be true.
Let's see what goes down when he's put in the realistic position of having his wages slashed or being told to get out.
It seems like every negative tweet is siezed upon as the absolute truth.
The "positive" tweets are exactly the same as I've said above.Fair point, but the negatives are just rehashed news with bits and pieces added to spruce it up a little.
Reality is none of us know, I've just gone off my gut instinct and for any number of reasons I want us to walk away. I think you see it this way cause you want the deal to happen so badly, of course you'll get some folks go from one extreme to the other.Respected journos post something positive and its shot down as rubbish. Negative tweets are posted and people go into meltdown and it's deal off etc.
I still think he wants to stay in Barcelona. His new house is being built and I am not sure if his girlfriend (soon to be wife) would like to leave as well. He has no reason to leave Barcelona if he still has his contract. It could be the case that he tries his to be a first team player next season.Again think of it this way... if he was saying he wants to stay in public, why would he go and tell his team mates he wants to leave? He knows that would be leaked right away and screw him over.
He's giving Barca absolutely nothing to cling on to in the hopes of getting out of paying wages and bonuses. You have to look at the wider picture and apply some logic to it. Yes some players may say they're leaving to team mates and they're staying to the media, but it doesn't work out well for them I'd imagine
Well, that to be expected.Longest medical in the history of football (c.1992)
Yeah like the Pepsi Max at Blackpool, god showing my age calling it thatThis deal is such a rollercoaster.
Within the same page you have a journo claiming he doesn't want to move etc. Few posts later and deal is imminent.
It just goes to show none of them have a single clue whats going on.
If he stays, Barca only pay him back over the length of his current deal. The 17m euros is paid incrementally. If he leaves then he wants it all now. Barca don't stand to gain a lot from the sale if that is his demands.Does that mean he'll get payed if he moves to United or I misinterpret it.
That's the true joke statement. Christ. There isn’t a player from Birmingham except for Jack Grealish… that believes they are better than Jude Bellingham.
What a joke statement. Yes he played well against us but that’s a hyperbolic view. He’s bang average and I’m sure Villa would love to take our money if we was stupid enough to give them what we are offering De Jong.
