Wouldn't Fred and FDJ be other way around?

Unless he has gone back, I though the duo went to Netherlands to seal teh Martinez deal
Meant figuratively. I doubt they are there sitting in hotels, waiting. Maybe they should. What I am glad is that they have shown themselves to be willing to strike a balance between economics and competitiveness in football-side.

What do Tancredi Palmeri and IndyKaila say about the transfer? Only ITKs you can trust.

This is going to the end of the window. At which point Barca and us will agree to share paying the outstanding wages he’s owed in order to facilitate a transfer.

No way this happens. It's pretty clear really. Now that Barcelona are out of the picture we have two options. We believe the UK media that De Jong wants to come and, therefore, personal terms wouldn't be an issue. Or, if believe the Spanish media, De Jong never even wanted the move so no need to waste everyone's time.
Obviously, we would want to have a deep mid at some point before the start of the season, which is in 3 weeks, so no way this drags on for long now.

Apologies if this has already been posted

Onda Cero is a fairly reliable Spanish radio station. Must be noted though, Spanish not Catalan. So won't take it as gospel but nevertheless a good sign.

Tier 3 so no. Unless it's Alfredo-someone from OndaCero, who is tier 1. Not in this case though.

We should not pay his salary for the first three months or so. He'd love us because of it.

Yeah I don't know about these Tiers. I lived a fair few years in Barcelona, so know Onda Cero is a pretty decent radio station for Spanish news.

I've seen some call a spider, others a wasp - one lost soul even mistook it for a kangaroo. They're all wrong and frankly terrible people.

It was, is and will forever be a beetle.
Nope .... 100% certified rodent

So Barca has basically told him that he has no future at the club, and they'd like him sold? If so, he must really love them to want to stay. I mean he can flat out refuse to go obviously... but am sure he won't be liked

OK they say that, but what if he just flatly refuses to negotiate any personal terms ?
Do you really think we would have taken it this far if we hadn’t had received reassurances from him?

ETH has a good relationship with him and there’s no reason why he’d be screwing over a coach he likes and respects. He’d come flat out and say thanks but no thanks boss.

its down to the money owed and Barca will buckle in the end.

No chance, imagine being pinned against the wall by Murtough's hammy fists as he shouts in your face, his breath honking of cheap tapas and Mahou whilst Arnold pretends he's seen something interesting out the window. Deal will be done tonight.

No chance it takes that long. We`ve completely finalized things with Barcelona now the player left. De Jong may well drag his heels but it will take a week max for a resolution because Barca themselves want him out even if it means forcing the issue

Who are all these random dickheads tweeting bollox. I'd just go off our tier 1 people.

Agreement reached with Barcelona.
No personal terms agreed yet.
Obviously he's open to a reach around because we wouldn't have chased for so long, he's been constantly sending dick pics to EtH or the other way around, by all accounts.

That's my understanding anyway..

Oh, and he wants his fecking money. Which would appear to have been substantially funded by yours truly to appease both the manager and the fans.

Exactly my thoughts. Frenkie de Jong also seems like an honest down to earth person in his interviews so i dont think he would screw ETH over by saying yes and doing no.

Fred aint starting.

Also a fair chance neither is Ronaldo but that's up for debate.
It's weird how people take it personally when someone points out Fred doesn't fit into this new-look ETH side. I don't see him working as a double pivot with FDJ and feel that when Fred is playing his best, he's playing proactively a lot further forward. I just see our options pushing him down the pecking order.
