Is he this afraid that he would be destroyed by the prosecution? I would have loved to see that.

Their tactic is delay, last week the defense claimed that they had misunderstood the judges’ rulings… all lined up for an appeal, I suspect.

Really interesting hearing. I thought Kinzinger’s closing was really good. I wouldn’t vote for that guy ever, but he held nothing back.
The outtakes were infuriating. He had no remorse, gave no shots, and still refused to admit the election was over. It wasn’t even an ask to admit he lost, or to concede, just to say it was over. What a complete narcissistic ass hole.

One can assume 2 years is a much better outcome for him than the alternative if he co-operated, given that's his choice.
Two years is the max for his two guilty verdicts. The sentence will be far closer to 60 days though.
Then they can't subpoena him again for the same thing I take it?
