This whole situation is annoying because it’s being dealt in a very different way to every other player. He’s a diva who still believes he’s bigger than the club. If he’s so desperate to leave, Utd and him should agree to terminate the contract so we can put him out of his misery.

Not if ETH actually wants to keep him he shouldn’t.
He shouldn't stay just cos SAF got involved. He needs to want to be here based on what the current manager has to say. What could SAF possibly even say that would be at all relevant?

Too much drama. Get rid.

Dragging Fergie and the CEO of Manchester United after you've failed to find a club for yourself. FFS. It's just media management to say Fergie convinced Ronaldo to stay.

I meant the elite sides. I don’t consider Milan back at that level yet. And he’s only a fraction of what Ronaldo still thinks he can command.
I mean didnt they just win Serie A? so not like they are small time.

I definitely think if Ronaldo has a solid season he could definitely get a gig at a CL club that plays a bit more route 1 style football and want a striker they can rely to turn in the goals and aren't required to be ultra mobile. Like Milan has done with Zlatan.

He'd be in a better position to appeal to Ronaldo on a emotional/personal level than any of the others could, you'd think. Whether that's a positive or not....

This is the annoying aspect, I don't think SAF, Arnold would be rocking up at Carrington if Shaw wanted out.
They feed his ego and you wonder why he acts the way he does.

Looking likely. It will be officially SAF and love for utd which made him sacrifice UCL football where in reality he got rejected by every club.

If this meeting doesn’t end with us telling him to feck the right off, I’ll be majorly disappointed in this club.

Sorry to say it but SAF should really stop getting involved in stuff like this.

EtH is the manager and the club has moved on from his days.
How do you know he is involved? You do realise that SAF goes to Carrington often, just because he is there after the team comes back from pre season, doesn't mean its only to do with Ronaldo.

The irony of the Caf moaning about the attention on Ronaldo yet making more attention on Ronaldo by being hysterical about every little thing.

Classic

I think you and I both have different definitions of what an elite side is. I was speaking of sides in the same tier as Bayern, Real Madrid, Barca, etc because this is the kind of move he wants now.

He could probably easily get a contract at the likes of Milan, Napoli, etc if he were to drastically reduce his wages.

Keep a clean shit tomorrow, United is my final bus
The circus has arrived.

I'm putting my bets on now. Ronaldo is back with his tail between his legs but will attempt to play this as him doing us all a favour and that he will stick around if the club agrees that he doesn't get the 25% wage reduction that the rest of the squad have.

Nice of Mendes and Ronaldo to drag SAF into this mess.

A cheap move.
It’s most likely the other way round. SAF would probably be trying to convince him to stay while he wants to leave so makes no sense why they’d drag him into this.

A non issue
It absolutely is an issue!

He needs to keep his nose out of things, it's nothing to do with him at all anymore.

It completely undermines the current manager. If ETH can't convince (not that he should have to) to stay then Fergie shouldn't be involved and let Ronaldo cop himself on or rot on the bench.

If I were Arnold I'll tell him to royally feck off then.

Very naïve and outright delusional to suggest that SAF isn't there because of Ronaldo. What his role in all this is-is up for debate but he's there because of Roni.

Let’s be honest. Ronaldo isn’t Luke Shaw. The same thing would be happening if it was Messi.

More excited about Eriksen and Martinez being at Carrington than Ronaldo

Deepthroating information to Howard Nurse.

Is there a single thing you don’t fecking moan about? If ETH wants to keep Ronaldo the club should do everything reasonable to make that happen. If that includes using SAF then so fecking be it.

There’s no way that Martial would start ahead of Ronaldo. Martial has only been playing pre season because we have literally no other options. Besides, Ronaldo wouldn’t stay to sit on the bench.
I'll be shocked if Martial isn't starting in the 1st game of the season. Ronaldo will probably come into the team but he basically gave away his position through his decision to not join the pre-season.

Any photos of the clowns and elephants heading into Carrington?
