Us, City can’t fit him in now.
I know, but that has never stopped them from stockpiling good talent. But you may be right as they already bought 2 strikers this season.

But anyways, back to Sesko. I have made my camp in this thread! Muppets assemble! Let's make this signing a reality!

Literally nothing about this other than it starting from some agg account faking a quote from an Austrian paper. Since then the paper have even called it out on twitter as bullshit

Wish there was something in it... however its just a shit rumour going viral

Certainly looks like he's got all the raw attributes to be the next Haaland.
Exactly!
He's young, tall, fast, a striker, and plays for RB Salzburg.

If that's enough for football journos to call him the next Haaland, it's certainly enough for me! If he was 1,65m and played in La Masia, he'd be the Slovenian Messi!

Are his performances consistently like that? Seems like he’s a fit for a pressing system.
I don't think so. Maybe regular watchers can comment more accurately but I still feel he's very raw and hit and miss. But he's still only 19 though. Lot of time to still improve and put everything together.

You jest, but he genuinely looks a good talent.

Wouldn't be the first time we became interested in a player because of online hype.

If we sign him I reckon he's the type of guy that won't be that good at first but then he'll shave his head, grow a goatee beard and be brilliant.

And yet none of them arrived. My point is there is no planning from the board. There will be five substitutions this season and how many attackers are there in the bench when we need a goal? Btw, Alvarez is the new city striker.
Not for lack of trying.

Haaland wouldn’t come without a release clause which would be idiocy to agree to and you’re probably aware about the story that we showed Bellingham around Carrington and even brought out sir Alex to meet him but in the end he and his representatives saw a better chance at developing elsewhere. Moving to Dortmund was objectively the smartest move both of them could’ve made for their development.
This is all common knowledge so you come off as whining just for the sake of it.

Alvarez we have no idea how he’ll actually turn out so it seems a stretch to damn the club for not signing him. City clearly weren’t prepared to to bank on him.

Also, the window is still open. So maybe you should shelf the outrage for when we have the facts on the table. Ronaldo and Martial are still both here, until that’s no longer the case, as our rivals we hold two CF options having arguably less to play for.

Who cares if he’s consistent?!

Us muppets just need a 30 second clip and that’s enough scouting. We know a talent when we see one. Throw whatever money it takes to get this lad. He’s a generational talent. Will be best striker in world next year.

Behind the right goal post as "Whiteside shoots!"
Scores against Liverpool (and made Milner look a mug) which is basically an invite to buy him.

Then goes off at HT to ensure a Liverpool player (p!ssed off at being mugged) doesn’t try to injure him, preventing him from joining his dream club.

All the signs are there?

(could even do a deal and buy but allow to stay until Jan or July.. sweeten the deal a bit).

No one knows how any signing will turn out, but Alvarez looks absolutely brilliant. He was never brought in to play every game up front for city. But he’ll certainly get a fair amount of games and could certainly become their number 9 in coming years when Haaland gets seduced by Madrid.

He looked a little bit sad coming off the coach too. Club defo trying to alienate him.

Veron? He was a f*cking great player and if you disagree then youse a f*cking idiot.
He was so good I was happy for him never to fit into the team just because of how much I loved him. Was so gutted when it didn’t work out. It just wasn’t the right time for him. With Keane and Scholes around it was a hard balance to get right.

He's obviously still raw but you get this inevitable feeling that he's gonna explode this year. If he is available for 20m the time to get him is now. We took a punt on Amad and Pellestri, who have shown less. Hope his agents meeting with Murtough was more than us just keeping tabs and he's being seriously considered .. even if Ronaldo stays.

Eh what’s that about?
Diagnosed with testicle tumor last week. He's already undergoing treatment. I think an update was expected this week, but not seen anything.

Edit: Seen the update now, they don't expect him to return atleast for a few months. Here's something that might be relevant for this thread:

Kehl:

"We are preparing for different scenarios. We are working on different options and ideas. At the moment, nothing is concrete. We have a relatively tight schedule until November.

"Honestly, I think our squad offers us a lot of possibilities. [Dortmund coach] Edin [Terzic] has a number of options at his disposal. Nevertheless, we may lack the profile that Haller has in terms of height and presence. But we will only do something if it makes sense."
