My mood? I’m not even involved in the debate
I actually agree with you, the window isn’t great so far but add de Jong and a striker and it is. The window isn’t finished yet. We needed a new left back, right back, centre half, midfielder and forward.
Still see a move for RB if we can move on AWB (no chance of a permanent move)

Complicated..

Madird or Bayern get the deal done over night.
Any club can do a deal when a player wants to join you and only you, and their club is willing to sell. As it stands, Bayern have spent all summer dancing around signing Konrad Laimer because Leipzig want more than 20m.

But the tweet was made out to be referencing a Kurier report which the newspaper confirmed to be nonexistant? So literally a fake news tweet.
Yeah that was fake. You said his agent meeting Murtough which was posted before that fake tweet if I'm not wrong.

His name sounds too much like Sakho and those never turn out right.

This is crazy, there wasn't any link before. Maybe the management and scouting department does read the Caf. Power to the muppets!

Madrid and Barcalever maybe. But I doubt if Bayern can pull this through considering that they are in the same league.
Austria and Germany hasn't been the same nation since around 1945.

Same league?
:( Sorry brain freeze. I have the other German RB club in my mind.

What I wanted to say was that it would affect their sister club by selling to its rivals unless they can extract some ridiculous amount out of the fees.

Listen, if the American education system has taught me anything it’s that Austria is a big island somewhere south of China and Salzburg is a German city near London.
:lol::lol::lol::nervous::nervous:

Fyi. No sub-conscious thoughts of wanting the two nations to re-join and create a Greater Germany.

Sesko will be our secret weapon against Liverpool this season.

Give 40 mil to Salzburg and get it done.

Is Sekso ready to start every game at a club like United? No
Can he start some matches if needed? Yes.

He had 36 matches last year against grown men, 6 were in the CL, 2 in the CL qualification.
He scored 10 and assisted 7.

Will he need time? Yes
Will he miss chances? Yes
Does he have the potential to succeed? Yes

United need such signings, we can not sign every player for 50 mill., we need some gamble on good talent.
But nowaday, a great talent almost need 50m cost to buy them if Manchester United involves in the deal

Buy and leave him there for this season to develop? I don’t think he is ready yet but good enough for us to lose out on, so this may work for all parties?

Assume we'll only push for this if Ronaldo leaves. I'm pretty sure he's leaving so lets get this done now. Looks a real talent.

I don’t think we’ll ever spend the amount it would take to get him (50m?) and loan them back. It’s just too much money for that

Have we just woken up and realised it’s the transfer window and that we finished 6th last year? We went into it briefing we needed 2 attacking players. Ronaldo then told us 4 weeks ago he wanted out. Antony isn’t for sale. We haven’t moved on. We’re only now this week going for this kid - also told he isn’t for sale. What is the plan here? It’s 8 days until kickoff and outside of waiting for FDJ for another 5 weeks in the hope he just suddenly decides he does actually want to join we don’t appear to have a clue who else we can sign. I’m all for giving people the benefit of the doubt but this window is fast becoming a total clusterfeck. Again.
The media saying we need 2 attacking players doesn't mean the club was ever going to sign them in this window. It also doesn't mean it was ever true and something Ten Hag demands.

Why am I seeing people ok with us spending 40m on him? This is a player nobody here knew of a few days ago. Is this just desperation for a new signing or what? Max he should go for is 25m.

That's never going to happen, we need fowards for rotation in a long season, if we are splashing on him it means he's coming in immediately to help the team.

Agreed. No idea why people are thinking this means we’re signing him. It’s complicated like everyone else we spend months trying to sign and don’t. The Antony tweet update is shite too - it says we don’t intend to sign him FOR NOW - so rather than go and get a much needed alternative we’re going to spend the next 5 weeks hoping Ajax reduce the asking price. It’s Sancho all over again.
So, when Liverpool wait for the player they want, even if it means getting them in a next transfer window, we applaud and say that's how serious clubs do it. Identify the right target, then get him when possible.
But if we do it, it's amateurish? Why?

Why didn't Liverpool move on from Van Dijk when Southampton busted them?

Are we realy comparing Van Dijk to Antony and Sesko? We got praise for waiting for Sancho and not panic buying an RW like Sarr

No we haven't. His priority was Frenkie and we don't have him yet. He also wanted Antony who looks unlikely as Ajax priced him out after we waited forever to make a move. He's also mentioned repeatedly that he needs more bodies in midfield and up front. We didn't get him that. We got him an Eriksen for free, the sixth CB for an enormous fee and a young LB that will be a squad player next season at best. Brilliant business so far. You guys can take off your red tinted glasses now. This window hasn't been good at all so far. Let's hope it still will.
Martinez is clearly brought to be a starter. Malacia will likely either get the starting spot or pressure Shaw to elevate his output to retain it.

As for Eriksen, are you and the rest of the moaners here serious? He is one of the best creators in the game and we just lost Pogba, replacing him with a much more consistent and hard working player. And somehow that's a bad thing? Are you for real?

Have you even read my post? Very much doubt it. Never said getting Eriksen is a bad thing. Just that the window hasn't been good enough by any stretch of imagination. Anyone claiming otherwise is simply delusional. Eriksen's best position is where we have Bruno. We got Malacia when we have Shaw. We got Martinez when we have 5 CBs. What we didn't do is get a CM when we have feck all there. What we also didn't do is get a forward when we have even less options there. How fecking hard is that to understand?

Yes. He’s going to play every single game and never get injured. And rashford is going to play every single game and never get injured so Sancho will never play on the left. Definitely happening. We don’t want or need a RW - that’s why we haven’t been after Antony all summer.
Even Bruno, Donny and Eriksen can all play on the wings, and Ten Hag has already used Tadic in such a way. Chill. The world doesn't end with us not buying a right winger this window.

Telles is useless, right? We can all agree to that I hope. So, how is getting another LB, who can actually take the starting spot from Shaw, a bad thing?

As for Martinez, I'm too lazy to browse your post history to see which of our CBs you've criticised, but with Maguire playing as the RCB in friendlies, it is pretty clear Lisandro will fit into the first 11. Bailly, Jones and Tuanzebe are being sold. I assume we want two of them sold and the remaining one to be our 5th CB.

So, we have 3 good transfers so far, waiting and linked with a couple other players. How is that a weak transfer window? I don't get it. Yes, we lost players this summer. We wanted to lose most of them, right?
