People so desperate for Nunez to be shit they refuse to see the impact he has had on the game. Cognitive dissonance at work.

The tempo he plays at and intensity in his game is a great match for Liverpool.

Nunez hasn't stopped running since coming on and got his reward.

Wish Foden played for United. Classy player

on another note, the amount of times Sterling bailed out City of situations like this - they're going to miss him. Elite movement with a poacher's instinct. I don't think any of their other wide players can provide those qualities

Woeful defending on that goal. Liverpool loving media will milk themselves over this result.

I really don't rate Foden. Doesn't do anything, isn't quick, barely goes anywhere when he dribbles, can't really pass well, doesn't have a good cross. Tidy but he really doesn't ever do much, if he wasn't at City he'd really be a mid table player.
I rate him as a good attacking player, but he’s not best player in the world quality.

I don't mind her as long as she isn't commentating. She seems to talk for the sake of it, so then comes out with tosh.
Think it was Chelsea when they won the fa Cup, she came out with this belter "that's a great 3 points for Chelsea"

Nunez movement looks good, deserved his goal. Looks the type that will bottle big chances though.

He's going to be handful for defences, even though he's very Lukaku-ish when it comes to basic skills. Always running at them.

Haaland is a weird signing for me. He's obviously a fantastic player (shrugging of Robertson like that), but he's just not a Pep player at all. Much like Zlatan at Barcelona. They even make weird missplaced crosses with him upfront.
He could just form the team around him but why should he do that? His current model has already been extremely successful domestically and if he was brought on for Europe it's still a strange choice because their model has already been relatively successful there as well (already made a final and let's be honest that Madrid game was a freak accident), and unless he's planning to change their entire style i doubt just slotting him in those games would have made much of a difference.

Pep might not have thought this through.
