Honestly think all the people giving him abuse are closet Ronaldo fans, hurt that he wants to leave & lashing out. If you really don't think he's good & don't care if he's gone then why all the vitriol? If rumours came out of Wan-Bissaka wanting to leave I bet none of you would bat an eyelid.
Wan bissaka doesn't have an ego the size of Jupiter. Wan Bissaka doesn't go on social media to say "tomorrow the King plays" in a meaningless friendly. and if we are honest, it's your type who are truly fans boys playing the reverse psychology game. This team will be better without Ronaldo. Ronaldo is a circus united cannot afford under a progressive manager. Two managers suffered badly for it. Not this one.

You guys are over-analysing this to hell. I can almost guarantee Ronaldo was only going to play 45mins regardless. Even ETH himself said that he didn’t think he was as up to speed as the others and wasn’t sure how long he could last days before the game.
You might be under-analysing. If Ronaldo didn’t leave the stadium after being subbed off, I suspect we wouldn’t be having this debate. I’ve seen red-carded players leave, but never a subbed off player. It’s highly irregular and smells off to anyone that cares to take their head out of the sand. Ronaldo plainly could have had and would have liked to have had more minutes.

There was like 7 players that left, did they all storm off? It was arranged before the match, stop buying out of context mainstream media shite.

Saw some dubious news that he may be returning to Sporting. I have made my peace with him leaving - I think it’s a step forward. We can’t have a drama play out whole season.
Would like to get €15m for him if it was possible but may have to settle for less

There is no way Sporting can afford that and pay close to the wages he is on at the moment.

He ain't good enough. His ego would just listen to his greedy side and go to Saudi and rake it in.

Lot of players left who need to leave - Bailey, Telles etc. However we desperately need to get rid of this dick, would be great as an impact sub but we all know that is not possible. We were a much better team before he came back - second in the season before he came and 6th with him, that is an indisputable fact, everything else is simply opinion.

He’d be perfect as an impact sub for any club but his ego not allowing that is why nobody wants him.

The last fella who did buy him got his fair share of Champions League goals off the bench.

If you also combined all these with his high avg rating (reflect performance) and goals, it does reflect a player who is dominating the game for a very long period.

Also, I did say he was an dominating all around attacker who boss the games during his 20s, and I did also say he was always capable of making good pass and involving in build up play etc. I don’t see how you would suddenly draw conclusion and conclude I did claim he is “dominating playmaker”. I wouldn’t brand him as “playmaker” for a start, I’d always insist he is an “all around attacker” during his peak rather. But ever since he reached 30+ of age, he turned himself more into “poacher” rather than “all round attacker” of his whole 20s, which was basically the the starting point of our argument.

Anyway, let’s agree to disagree. I know you have other favourite player and other preferred style of play, but Ronaldo bossing the game (goals+assist+performance+overall attacking impact) doesn’t necessarily diminsh other player you supported at all.
1.Goals bump up the rating significantly regardless of the rest of the performance and he scores lots.

2. We probably define bossing the game differently. Ronaldo has always been an impact player for me.

3. I'm not comparing.

Anyway, let's agree to disagree.

He didn’t leave at HT though, just slightly before the game ended and with other players. It’s a nothing story.

I don’t really get this impact sub notion as if we have quality players in the team. He’s better than Martial whichever way you look at it.

I still can't get over how badly him and his agent etc. have handled this situation. It's so unbelievably amateur for people with so much experience.
Reportedly had a deal in place with Boehly but then Tuchel said no...

So Ronaldo leaving early was actually a bad thing? I didn't really follow the drama but I saw post making it to not be a big deal

It’s funny how the thread is titled Out and many still think he leaves. Face the truth, he will stay, he will play Martial out of the starting11 after 4,5 games and goes on to score 25+ during the course of the season.

I thought so. ETH doesn't seem like the type of guy to let players leave early to 'beat traffic'.

Was probably leaked by the higher ups to not cause drama.

Need to just sit Ronaldo on the bench and feck him off asap.

Bizarre.

Didn't the club make a statement to the contrary?
To protect the howdy-doody, everything-is-fine vibe we love to project.

PR7 is already back tracking now he’s realised no-one wants him, and probably expects the club to help smooth the whole thing over.

Love ETH. He isn’t gonna toe the party line. Personally I hope he drops the lot of them, even if that means us not having half of our first team in the opening game.

He's absolutely right, too. Leaving the game early is unfathomable. You're meant to be part of a team FFS. You arrive as a team, you train as a team, you play as a team, you leave as a team. I applaud ETH for calling this out.

OT crowd will continue to suck him off though so all good, some people just have no self respect. Getting dicked around by egomaniac that couldn’t care less about this club and still cheering him loudly.
