Frankie will sign for Utd only to be told by FIFA that he signed an illegal contract, his agent will go to jail and then he will sign a real contract with Chelsea. You will then use the ill-gotten transfer fee to sign player “X” who turns out is parties and becomes overweight.

Probably.

Andrei Kanchelskis made me fall in love with Unite
Honestly? I don't know.

Do I think FDJ will join? Probably not. Do I think we have an alternative? Definitely no.

Do I think we'll sign an attacker? Probably no to that either
Exactly what I was saying earlier. I see nothing imminent. de Jong seems way off if it's ever going to get done (which I doubt), Sesko could maybe happen. Apart from that there's nothing. Maybe we'll panic on deadline day - always a solid plan.:houllier:

Interviews like 2 weeks old. Unless of course he lives in LA and wears that suit every time and always goes to that TV studio for a weekly interview.
Yeah there is no way he has managed to get out of that tight Barcelona shirt that quickly. It's an ancient interview.

My sources were able to get me this direct quote from Frenkie during a negotiation tonight with a very special club representative...

"Yesh! Sho shweaty! Anywaysh, pleashe tell me more about thish Weshtminster Casthle near your Chelshhea Headquartersh..."
I just tried to speak that in a Steve McLaren accent with “EffShee Twente” in my head.

The worst window ever at a time when we needed the best. Sad times and a depressing season ahead.

In a scenario including the words ‘Ill gotten’, ‘illegal’ and ‘Chelsea’ it isn’t going to be United in the wrong!! :wenger:

He’s smiling because he’s had his last training session in that hell hole, I presume

This still has the strong whiff of a done dealio, amigos.

As I understand the alleged facts, Barcelona cannot register their new signings -- all of whom play in positions of much greater need for Barca than CM -- until they dispose of Frenkie's admittedly rather high wages (why Barcelona agreed to what they agreed to is its own story), they have agreed to a transfer fee with United and they're already stacked with whom they consider better midfielders than Frenkie. It's also an undisputed fact that Frenkie has not begged to come to United, but I assume it's a fact that he would like to rake in huge wages during the prime of his career and that he does not desire to rot on the bench, even if Barcelona's bench is near the beach.

Keep the faith and carry on. Let's get some other signings over the line while Frenkie squeezes Barcelona for a few more paychecks.

Like I said, he’ll be watching the Brighton game in the stands. If unexpected delays happen, might miss out by a day and link up with the team the day after.

Not ITK but this is so obviously a done deal.

Directly under the sun... NOW!
If Chelsea gets him . Would you then say this is embarrassing
I just don't get it. Why? Why ask if it's embarrassing? If we lose 2-0 v Liverpool, is it embarrassing? If Jones pulls another face, is it embarrassing? What's even the point? Where is the line? If he bombs at Chelsea, is it embarrassing?

Ps. I think I just broke the record for using the word embarrassing. It's embarrassing.

I can see him looking right towards Manchester. He’s spotted the Hilton tower, his new home. This is so on! :D

Barca basket case in nice city with CL, Chelsea basket case in not as nice city with CL, United basket case in even worse city with no CL, so Barca stealing Chelsea's targets, and Chelsea stealing United's targets, is not embarrassing, it's just the current way of things.

So to add some context here. If we forget we’re even in for him for a second. Here’s a guy posting a picture of himself smiling in training because he’s so happy to be there. So happy, that he’s yet to agree a new reduced salary which is required for Barca to sign their new players. Is that right? Some serious public posturing going on.

People read too much into things, players are kind of obligated to post pictures by their PR managers and publicists. Your social media clout and staying relevant helps with sponsorships and endorsements.

Ronaldo for instance gets over a $1m per Instagram post because he sold his image rights, so a player like Frenkie an absolute treasure of the Dutch national team has to post regularly regardless of him. As an athlete and they'll most likely be handed the pictures to post.

Nothing of what goes on, on a social media account of a player matters, it's all a brand. You may even argue at times like this you have Chelsea fans, United and Barca all checking their pages so they're getting more traffic (views/interactions) than usual.
