Frenkie should consider that he may went to his dream club but as a player went backwards. They did not know how to help him maximize his potential or they did not want to because they play a different style of football.

If he goes to Chelsea he may face a similar situation under a new system, new coach, and again increased competition in the midfield area. He may join a “safer” team, but individually he may stall again. His abilities and playstyle are indeed very unique for a coach to integrate him easily in the team. ETH has described the changes he needed to make to get the best out of him in Ajax.

He will enter his prime years and now is the time to do the next step if we wants to become one of the greats. It may sound funny but he is very very lucky that ETH, the coach who knows how to make him shine better than anyone joined a top club (no jokes here, you know what I mean) and that he wants to build the midfield and team around him.

(if he worries too much about where United are going and that he will waste his career, he can ask for a gentleman’s agreement to be sold in 2 summers, if the team has not progressed enough)

Hope he makes the smart choice for his career and talent.
You can argue that he will progress more in a difficult environment and will become a better player for it too. But I hope he sees it like you say and chooses to join us

Spend 100 million and astronomical wages on another midfielder and over 300 million overall on transfers only to end up with Aubameyang upfront is absolute madness. They might as well go for Arnautovic if that's the case.

4/1 now, last chance to make some cash before it comes flying in.
Us because stories have caused to drift for last couple of weeks, so want the likes of @sewey89 to be right and leave many of us doubters looking stupid but not getting that vibe.

Plot-twist: After being turned down by FDJ's camp, Chelsea are now allowing Barca to use their name to pressure United in exchange for an easy run at Auba.

Man, I need to start a twitter account...
Do it, I’d follow you.
It’d actually be a fun parody account, just making up outrageous transfer rumours during silly season

The obvious big plus for you is Champions League and winning lately, but yeah for instance Timo Werner has been a bit of a object for dislike in your fanbase.

Personally this is one of my favorite videos  Happened just after you won the CL and fans were allowed to speak/applaud the team on the PA-system live on Stamford Bridge

“Get Werner out the club”
Well, he got his wish at least!

If he doesn't want to join us then FFS just stay at Barca, please don't come to this league and join one of our direct rivals

Murtough: Any targets for this summer?

ETH: Get me Frenkie.

Murtough: Any alternatives in case we can't acquire him?

ETH: You shut your damn whore mouth!!

If someone kept telling you your partner was cheating even though you live in the same house would you not be suspicious?

Even if they told you it’s not true?

There’s your answer.
This is not how you conduct multi-million pound business. You don't jump at shadows.

Breaking news worthy of three red siren emojis coming up at 9am! We asked @gerardromero the burning questions... What are the things, and when will they actually happen?

Fabrizio just RT’ed a post saying Chelsea will match Barcelona’s demands, and it now rests with FDJ. Not the “here we go” hammer blow but pretty damn close.

Not sure that's such breaking news considering we're at that stage for a month

So they're in the same situation as us, just a month later. Cool.

@Tweek , create a thread here to source off made up rumours that everybody can contribute. You pick the best ones and post it on twitter complete with green check marks and rotating red lamp emoji for "breaking news"
get everyone here to follow and retweet it.
Don't forget to use a profile pic of you on your phone looking serious ala Romano

from my reading of this thread, many held hope that Chelsea wouldnt make a concrete bid. Fab’s RT dispels that. And if they’re interest is concrete, for same ££, it’s between Barca and Chelsea. IMHO

I see where you're coming from, and it could of course happen, but they still haven't bid and even when they do, we're still there or thereabouts
