ETH, Ruud, van Persie need to keep calling FDJs phone and tell him to sign for us

He'll crack eventually

No, no it really doesn't. It shows that most reporters are speaking out of their arses when they said a deal is agreed and furthers the point that no one knows what's happening.

It also shows that Chelsea don't value him as high as we do and want to get Barca down to their valuation. Some people are just beyond negative
You need to read between the lines dude. Your optimism is admirable but things are starting to add up.

Arsenal fans have some hope and belief they are going to sign FDJ. Bless them.

That is true, if people get upset or angry with him going there when it’s unfolded like it has it’s bizarre or being done just to get angry. We’ve had plenty of time to prepare for this outcome now.

I still think we’ve got a chance, but nowhere near as big a chance as it looked awhile back.
Jeez. Sounds like a date

It's where I shop. It's great
It's a very annoying place to shop though, they often don't have items this week that they had last week. Their bakery is unrivalled though.

Imagine if we made a swap in January Pogba for De Jong. Would be mint.
Would never have happened, though, due to the contract lengths involved and the fact that FDJ had no reason to leave Barca, he was happy and they weren't needing huge sums of money urgently because nobody knew they were about to buy half the players in Europe.

They have weekly themes and tell you about them weeks in advance.

Bakery is amazing. Great place to shop except when it comes to paying. It’s like they aren’t interested in taking your money. Not a staff member to be seen at checkout. Then you get the beep that signals a checkout is about to open. You waddle over to it and it’s another 10 minutes before some dude arrives from his lunch break.

"Respected journos". None of them peddle transfer guff to online football fans so that's kinda impossible.
Fair enough.

Change it into, i don't know, "sources close to the club". Or whatever.

Besides Ben Jacobs, 0.
And he had a preeeety big miss in Kounde just weeks ago.

Conflicting to other reports saying Glazers aren’t willing to cover the deferred wages.

It wouldn’t make sense as we are willing to spend more than the deferred wages on some average players.

Yeah that’s obviously a load of bollocks IMO

To be fair, covering his wages is absurd. What sort of precedent does that set. I really hoped we would get him but it doesn’t sit right with me if we pay barca’s bill for them. Thats just not how business should work.

Now, let's play a little game.

How do you see this ending a who's gonna call it first?

"Here we go" to United by Romano?
"FDJ caves in to Barca demands" by some spanish cnut?
"Flying to London tomorrow" by Jacobs?
"Something....." by Ducker?

I mean the Lidl in my neighbourhood will have a particular brand of bread or yoghurt available for a few weeks or months and then won’t be seen again for months then randomly show up on the shelf again when you least expect it. That inconsistency is very annoying. I mostly drive past them to shop in Tesco who are a bit more reliable for my standard weekly shopping.

So Chelsea have gone from being willing to match the fee and paying the deffered wages to low balling Barcelona on the fee?

Seems legit.

Are they really?
Reporters really don't know as much as we think they know, they're speculating and guessing and people are buying into everything they say

At least they didn’t spend all summer believing.

Can't blame people for believing, they literally got a fee agreed weeks ago, from what I understand it hasn't left the table.

Now you'd have a point if it was some of the previous targets like sneijder etc

Exactly this. It would open a financing practice can of worms which feeder clubs and franchises like RB would exploit to the max.
