I'm aware United are shit but Casemiro is probably the best ball winning midfielder in world football and immediately stops us being so open on the transition, our biggest weakness. Reading off the game is incredible too so its not like he wouldn't have 3 years at a high level left.

Real Madrid fans didn't mind losing him because he often had a mistake in him and easily lost focus. Casemiro is one of the best CDM's in the world and they love him. Will be a massive loss for them if he comes.

It feels like people are forgetting that it's McFred we have in midfield, or maybe they're repressing it because they're traumatised (don't blame them), but we need an upgrade in midfield, simple as, and if an opportunity like this crops up to get a player like Casemiro even at 30 years old, you take it.
