So we went from trying to buy a quality younger player who doesn't want to come to united to a older quality player who also doesn't really want to come. At least we are consistent in our approach.

Well he has, unless you know the facts? In which case, let's have a look.
The fact is there is no evidence of any encouragement - just heresay. So you can't go out suggesting otherwise. The fact is most the catalan based outlets and also Romano have consistently said De Jong does not want to come here.

I find it very weird when people just assume negative things. Must be a coping mechanism or something.

If he doesn't want to come, he won't - it's as simple as that. He's recently signed a new deal only last year and Madrid have left the ball completely in his court.

If he a player wants to come to us cause of the money we are paying him does it mean he technically doesn't want to come?

Never mind getting him in before the Liverpool game, the big question is: can we pull off a major transfer coup in under 100 pages?

We are approaching players who dont want to come. it's quite evident we are trying to throw Sh*t everywhere in the hopes something sticks.
Do you have any evidence that Casemiro doesn't want to come here or are you making shit up to back up your own negative agenda?

This is not a great long term signing...

Really just does away with any long term plans we have. Oh wait. We don't have any...

30 isn't old. If you want us to get the best players in the world in, we have to pay the money. We are not good enough to attract these players otherwise.

We have zero evidence in regards to his ability being in decline. If he comes just enjoy having a world-class DCM once again.
Bit we don't get the same player at their previous club when they join us for purely money, di maria, schweinsteiger, sanchez, varane

Why would i want to make things up? we are throwing a truck load of money to motivate a player to come play. We all know how this will end. so yeah i'd rather be negative than be excited about this.

How good is the synergy between Casemiro and Fred in the national team? If we were to entertain the thought of him moving here.

Because he will likely phone it and see it as just his last big pay day, same when players go to America, Saudi or china

Where are you getting that he doesn’t want to join? What have we missed?

This guy and Eriksen in our midfield is so many levels above what we’ve endured over the last 9 years. I still expect Casemiro to see sense and say no. I’m hoping Fred is close to him and trying to convince him to come but I’m refusing to get my hopes up.

Because people seem to think the only players that should be signed are 20 year olds.

Baffles me that people are unhappy about potentially signing one of the best DM's in the world. There's arguably only 2 teams on the planet that Casemiro wouldn't improve (City + Liverpool).

Long-term plans mean nothing if you don't hit your short-term goals along the way.

You're bottom of the league mate, time to start worrying about this season rather than 3 or 4 years time.

feck me - some players have ambition beyond 30. He’s not going to come here and enjoy finishing 6th or 7th when he could just stay at Real and compete.

I saw a few links in the transfer tweets where the reporters mentioned he is not planning to leave Madrid. Do you have nay where he says he absolutely wants to come?
Many sources say he is considering it. Ancelotti even sat down with him and told him he can go if he wants, he's earned that right. There is always the possibility that he's angling for a new contract, but seeing as he just signed one last year, and really has achieved all he can, it's not a remote possibility that he's tempted to come to the PL.

Fred looks far far better when he is applying pressure higher up the pitch so Casemiro frees him up to do his thing. He's actually quite good at one touch short passes and triangles.
