The long term strategy is extremely questionable in terms of our midfield and centre forward as players are aging, or younger but not of a high standard. In isolation though this is a good signing, lets not kid ourselves about that. Should we have got one of the young rising stars in that position at the start of the window? Certainly. But with Casemiro we should get at least 2 years of a best in class DM, and hopefully more depending on how he ages.
