    Casemiro definitely available?

Could still be waiting on his visa - no official photos/interview etc as of yet.

    If he is, then...

    De Gea

    Dalot Varane Martinez Malacia

    Casemiro

    Eriksen Bruno

    Sancho Martial Rashford

Did Casemiro have a pre-season with Real? Is he physically fit to start?

Players know how difficult it is to play down there.
So I'm expecting a tough game. Some thing tells me Maguire will start along with Varane. I hope not, and it's only because of there set pieces. I'd go with the same team as on Monday. But I'd put Casimero in for Mctom. And Martial to start.

    ..........DDG.....
    Dalot... varane.. maguire... Malacia..

    .......Eriksen.... Casimero...
    Sancho... Bruno.. .. Rashford...
    ..............Martial......

Think he'll start Ronnie. Here's what i'd do

    De Gea
    Dalot Varane Martinez Malacia
    Cashameiro Eriksen
    Bruno
    Sancho Ronaldo Rashford

We're a force to be reckoned with when we turn into good vibes FC.

I think we'll go for the same team but with Martial in for Rashford.

    De Gea
    Dalot - Varane - Martinez - Malacia
    Casemiro
    Bruno - Fred
    Sancho - Martial - Rashford

    2-0 United.

3 - 1 for United, with JWP scoring his mandatory FK.

Lineup will be the same as against Liverpool, but Martial for Elanga. I don't think Casemiro will be ready to start.

His visa isn't cleared yet, at most he will have one training session with the team before the match.

They will come out flying and we need to match their energy.

They like to press, force turn overs and overload the box. If we allow them to do that, we are in trouble.

Hag will know how to counter their strengths. Hopefully the players can perform it.

I'd go with the same starting 11 yo send a message that the intensity and hard work comes with rewards. We need to make the effort a platform and build from there

Casemiro for McTominay, otherwise I'd play the same team. We're still trying to figure things out, no time to worry about getting Ronaldo, or Maguire, minutes.

I've got a bad feeling about this one. It'll require a different game from us, the one we generally struggle with. We can boost our chances if we're full of energy again though. It's just the part where we need to play coherent football and break a team down that worries me.

I expect them to press at times so hopefully the same moments are there to turnover the ball and hit them. If they play a bit deeper then we'll have to bring something else.

I think one of Southampton or Leicester will do us over if we go Casemiro, Bruno and Eriksen. Get one of Fred or McT in there, especially to start with, and get some solidity. When the form and confidence is there, you go with a more expansive, ambitious side

Hadn't even thought of it, but in all seriousness, isn't it strange to schedule a team who played the only Monday night match in the early Saturday game?
No. Southampton played on Tuesday. In fact, 13 of the Premier League teams played on Tuesday or Wednesday.

    De Gea
    Dalot--Varane--Martinez--Malacia
    Casemiro
    Eriksen--Bruno
    Sancho--Martial--Rashford

This team is quite short though and Southampton will be a threat from set-pieces

    Yeah I agree

Come on my mentality monsters. Let's keep up the good work and not slip back to lazy habits.

My optimism is dampened by having to wear that third kit again in the midday sun.

Only just managed to watch the Liverpool game, and it was very much like the City games under Ole in his first two seasons, basically focused on transitions and not bothered with keeping possession. So it will be interesting to see how we’ll play against Southampton.

    DDG

    Dalot
    Varane
    Martinez
    Malacia

    Casemiro
    Eriksen
    Bruno

    Sancho
    Martial
    Rashford

If we can press well and defend with the same intensity as the Liverpool game, hopefully we can get a 2-0 win. Sancho and Martial goals would be good.

I would like to see Fred, Casemiro and Eriksen on the midfield. They would press the shit out of Bruno and he will start giving away the ball cheaply.
