Get in.
2 on the bounce.

On to the next one.

We were hanging on for dear life in the end there, but all in all a great defensive resolution to get the clean sheet and win away from home for ages.

That was an ordeal. Ugly to watch (not just because of the kit) but I’ll take the 3 points.

Happy with that. First back to back wins since February. Clean sheet, away, for the first time since I don’t know when. Lots of positives to take. We looked good defensively and Martinez is really just a shorter Vidic. Casemiro showed in the few minutes he got how well he anticipates danger. Sancho was bright in the first half and tailed off badly in the second, fitness? Thought McTominay had a really good game which is a good thing, we need a lot of our squad to be in good form, lots of games to come.

For the negatives, we still need time to become a team that controls play and suffocates the opposition. Slow down the game when we want to and speed it up when we want to, like City do really. I’m seeing a lot of positive signs that we are going in that direction, but it will take time. We also lack depth and options upfront which is a worry.

Good win, tough game. Can't always be easy games like Liverpool every week.

Fecking woeful.

Lack of ability and lack of composure are terrifying.

Ugly game and could just as well have been a draw or a loss. Three points are important, but the lack of quality in the squad is as evident as ever. We desperately need at least two or three additions before the window shuts.

First time since February we made it through the first 38min of an away game without conceding, let alone a full 90min.

Not a good performance. It feels like we're learning to play football from scratch again. But a win and a clean sheet is another step forward.

Rashford's lack of aggressiveness gives us difficulty in attacks.
He never wins aerial duels and doesn't make enough runs.

Good win and great defence. That's about it but it'll do for now.

Thought we were comfortable.
Martinez is a born defender.

Important result, average performance. We need more in midfield. It’s concerning how we can’t keep possession.

Defence is looking good.

It is an improvement, but you can see where new players are needed. It is a positive performance and result, though.

McTominay was good defensively, but we need so much more than that to keep control of games.

McTominay, Martinez and Varane excellent.
Dalot, Malacia, Eriksen and Bruno mixed the good with the bad.
Everyone else poor.

Have you been drafting this while the game was on?

We won. Awful performance but somehow got it. Needed confidence booster and hopefully get a couple new signings in before next week.

Decent first half, but little to no control in the second half after scoring. Bottom line though, we won.

Mctominay not only got himself booked but also caused two teammates to get a yellow card because of his terrible passing and heading. Can't wait for him to be replaced by Casemiro.

Other than that, solid 3 points.

Seeing out that game and keeping clean sheet away from home will do us as much good as the Liverpool result
