Good first half. Should’ve scored more if we had a better CF. Poor second half. We need to avoid these drop offs in performance.

We are poor on the striker who can hold the ball
And we looked so exhausting during the match

Three points in an away game, all that matters. Getting Antony in for Rashford and Casemiro in shape to start matches and this team can go somewhere. Amazing what we're able to achieve without Slabhead at the back.

Made that way more difficult than it needed to be. No composure up front. Very careless with the all in attack.
At least we look like we can now control and see out a game.

A winning habit is a good habit to get into. Even so once the front get firing it will look really good.

Souness: "Great goal from Sancho but where was Martinez? Not even visible in that defensive line for Leicester."

'tis a silly place
Second half was awful and worryingly reminiscent of our previous two games. But at least the first half was much better, unlike our first two games.

We are going to see a lot of these kind of games this season. Changing a system and building team fitness take time.

Great game. We seemed to lose the ball starting the 2nd half but regained possession and had some good chances. No problem for me to win away games like this because they didn't have 1 clear chance all game

Nice result. Wouldn't mind a tiny smidge of entertaining football :nervous:

Another away win, another clean sheet. Some decent stuff played at this and a good defensive, and midfield performance. Happy with that. Early days but you can see bits and pieces of what the manager wants to do even if it’s not fully coming together yet.

Varane’s best game for us. He was class

We were poor for 15 mins at start of 2nd other than that we were comfortable

It’s building nicely.

We are improving, littlee things starting to click, casemiro and varane are fecking class, martinez is a lovable little psycho amd we still have anthony to come! Scotty mac looking decent for two games on the bounce. Bring on the arse.

Great result. Third game in a row we’ve not gone to the corner flag and this time it nearly cost us. It’s mental.

I thought we controlled the game without playing brilliantly, but we ground out a win

These sort of wins are huge for confidence

Still disjointed. But the players are putting a shift in. I'm cautiously optimistic we're heading in the right direction.
We really should have put this game out of sight though, in spite of our shortcomings.

Defensively quite solid, a bit uninspiring going forward. Hopefully in a few weeks we'll see the forward passes and touches come together a bit more and we can be a bit more ruthless. But, I do feel like this is something to look forward to.

Leicester weren't great.

Another good performance from Martínez and Varane.

I thought McTominay looked good but Casemiro helped us even more.

Attack looks impotent unless we counter. We need to create more chances.

Good result and once again there are flashes of what we might capable of, but feck me our final third play is just pub league sloppy sometimes and we can't keep squandering those positions in this league.

Cut the soft free kicks out around our box and that would have been a very dull, very professional 0-1 away win.

We’ve got to learn to continue to assert ourselves when in the ascendancy. That’s the third win in a row where we haven’t killed the game off when well on top.

Varane MOTM. First half was excellent. Ronaldo seems to have lost his touch. Can't wait to see what Antony can do.

First half good, you could see LCFC are in a funk and instead of putting our foot on their necks, they just gave them hope in 2nd half which was poor overall.

Good 3 pts at the end, thats about it.

Another 1-0 win, clean sheet, defensively solid, looking better in every aspect. Can’t really argue with that can you.

I had PTSD that game, any ceding of control and I panicked.
When Rashfords shit touches disappeared and we brought Casemiro and Ronaldo on we had authority in our play. No more flakey lay off passes that were under hit.
You can see where Antony would shine in this side.

You never looked like conceding in that - your midfield is so much better with Eriksen in it and even better with Casemiro coming on.
United look in a good place at the moment and there should be a lot more to come.

Someone in Rashford's place that has the composure to pick a quick pass and not shit the bed and we would win this game by at least a couple more goals. He fails the most simple passes to put someone through.
