Rashford getting critisised a lot again i see.

Some guys in her definitely have an agenda against the guy. He played well and provided another excellent assist. (great decision making btw).
But now he gets discredited as "moments fc".

Good half though. Arsenal the better Team but United still comfortable at the back. And great on the counter.

It wasn't Pep "pushing him out wide", oddly enough Jesus asked for it as he felt too much pressure playing up front.

But yeah, he's extremely good — you don't play for City for so long, even benching Agüero at times, without being an exceptional player. His only issue is (was?) his goalscoring, other than that he's simply outstanding. Arsenal were very lucky to get him, he's certainly in the contention for the being best striker in the league — probably just below Kane (there's no point even in mentioning Haaland).
ahh OK. but the passage/quote you provided doesn't say he asked for it. Just that "After the World Cup I thought that I couldn't play as a No.9. I started playing much more on the wing at City" are you the one inferring he asked for it from that? I think that would be a jump in reasoning.

Jimmy clown, you can’t just push people from behind and knee them without winning the ball
I'm honestly not sure why we he's even in the studio. Never played for either team and his Burton team are struggling in league 1, I think he's got more important things to be doing and there are more suitable commentators around.

Bruno needs to circulate the ball more and stop wasting possession so cheaply. When you have both Rashford and Bruno where they lose the ball cheaply it gets very frustrating.

One of them needs to be subbed, get Casemiro for Bruno, push Eriksen forward and maybe later sub in Fred for him. Get Ronaldo in at some point maybe.

Our weak areas are obvious. We are very poor at playing out from the back, and when we do get the ball we need to be a bit more patient. Push them back, circulate the ball more and build pressure that way. The limitations of some of these players is obvious.
I think you need to give a bit of credit to Arsenal for that, they've defended well and look organised.

Why’s JFB even there? Usually someone they wheel out for Leeds vs Chelsea

We would lose the offensive danger. We need a second ball cushion. Then we can introduce Casemiro and Ronaldo.
I just worry that if we stick with 1 DM for the whole game, Arsenal will eventually grab a goal.

Maybe that's paranoia talking, I dunno

Very good performance, don’t get the issue with their disallowed goal - no contact on the ball from Odegaard and it’s a foul, doesn’t matter if it’s soft or not.

McT playing very well, seeing him do things I’ve not seen before on the turn in possession and that period around 10-11mins where we just kept recycling the ball and keeping them moving was really good.
Issues on English tv ? On french tv, there is Nasri and Pires, both former gunners, saying it was a clear foul.

Absolute joke discussing that. He rams into him from behind, doesn't get anything of the ball, 100% foul any day of the week, how the ref even needed to look at it for more than 10 seconds is beyond me.
    Definite foul.

Loved that celebration from Antony. Very good team goal and a cool finish from the new man

I thought we started really well on the front foot and really didn’t give them time to settle. Then they get the disallowed goal and begin to control the game by creating a few good chances for themselves. DDG has pulled off some good saves when called upon and the defence has stood strong to their pressure.

I’d like to see us bring on Casemiro just to grab a hold of that midfield which they have bossed a fair bit too much to my liking.

Looking forward to the 2nd half. Just hope we go on and win this game. Bring that cloud 9 lot crashing back down to Earth!

Entire half time discussion on how the goal shouldn't have been disallowed and not a peep when the dippers scored after extra time because the ref allowed them to.

Loving our goals this season. Most come from fast transitions from our own half, a couple of fast passes and bam!

I thought we would get that from ragnarik but thankfully ten hag is making it real
We haven't had a chance to actually have a proper home game against an average/poor team yet outside the opening weekend. I really want to see the type of havoc we can do in a game like that. I have a feeling that breaking them down will not prove as difficult as it has been over the last decade.

I think we got spooked by their offisde goal and decided to be cautions and dropped off a bit.

The opening 15 minutes football was slick. Hopefully with more wins, we get more confidence and will be willing to play on the front foot the entirety of the game like we're clearly capable of doing but chose to not do so as often as most would like because we're trying to be a bit safer.

He's an odd one, look at the way Jesus is occupying our defenders, Rashford doesn't do that.

I liked how we started first 10-15 minutes, from then until our goal Arsenal were better side. They have a goal or two in them so there's huge 2nd half yet to be played. Will be so difficult to keep the lead.

Thought that few of Arsenal players could have got yellow cards as well.

I can't help but think that we need to play Casemiro and not McTominay even when the latter is playing extremely well (he's been one of, if not the, United's best players this half). He's great individually but his positioning still allows our opponents to take control of our midfield. Obviously subbing one of Eriksen or Bruno is also an option but Casemiro can't do what they do.

But it does sound harsh, McTominay has improved a great deal over the past few games.

McTominay did the same earlier and it was a foul. No point in discussing it.

Whatever happens, we’re getting our mojo back. The passion and effort is there and the rest will follow. Night and day from before.

I think Eriksen is the player to come off for Casemiro.

The mental gymnastics by Sky pundits to declare that wasn’t a foul on Eriksen really is special.

99 times out of 100 that's given as a foul in midfield and nobody bats an eye. Just because it leads to a goal doesn't mean that it's not a foul.

Hasslebank is never going to side with us anyway. He probably thinks if was a foul on Mendy anyway, complete clown.
He does seem better suited to Talk Sport's take the idiotic view option.

You can understand him getting wheeled out for the odd Chelsea game, as they're short on "legends" in the punditry game, but why one earth this game?

Also, I know people here like Bruno, but to me, we'll never truly be a controlling team in possession with him in the team.

Also, still crazy that Gabriel didn't get a yellow for the tackle on Bruno that led to the goal

McTominay is playing well, but of course, the downside is that despite playing well his presence in midfield is a contributing factor to our inability to hold possession for extended periods of time and cope with the high press.

Accepting his strengths in these games also means embracing his weaknesses.

This Arsenal side is no pushover, our players must remain focused and on it 100%, or they will easily turn it around.
