There is nothing to suggest it will happen, at all.
Except him not having a new contract and us being linked with new goalkeepers
Especially since the GK position is pretty essential for the way we want to play.
DDG is doing well though so who knows, but I wouldn't rule anything out here

We’ve an option on the contract so no rush there and we’ve been linked with keepers endlessly for about 5 years

Disagree. I see Rashford and Shaw as mainstays. Sancho, it's up to him. DDG will be gone in summer for sure ( on a free, this is our chance)
Not so sure. Our 1st priority will be a striker -- and those will be in the £70-100million range. So I don't think we can afford to spend another £50m on the sort of keeper that ETH needs. I think a promising CB will be a higher priority than a DDG replacement next summer.

I know we have an option but you said there is nothing to suggest it, when in fact there is.
And no we have not had this type of situation where we hear that scouts have specifically been briefed on the GK position directly from the manager.

Not necessarily with us but we've seen every other manager change their GK, Pep with Hart to Bravo to Ederson, Klopp from mignolet? to Alisson, Arteta from Leno to Ramsdale. I find it hard to believe ETH won't change. We shall see. My main thing though is this is a great chance to move on from DDG

De Gea is significantly better than all of those who were outgoing, Leno was Arsenal keeper under Arteta for 2 years even then. Context is key.

First time in years(And I think all of you will agree with me) that I actually like and can relate to a Manchester United team
Signs are good so far, but this statement has been bandied about at the certain point of pretty much every one of our managers' tenure, post Fergie by a significant section of our fanbase. Let's not get too carried away.

We looked so good with LVG winning 1-0 against Arsenal with no shot on target.
As I said ten hag has us playing the best football and getting results against the big sides since lvg's overall record and performances against the same sides, unless you think mourinho and ole did better with their sitting back and hoping to stop the opposition whilst nicking a goal on the break..

I watched us swamp Liverpool and Arsenal while DDG had little to do. I watched us smother Leicester and Southampton in between that as well. Everton away was exactly like yesterday only we scored our chances in the first half. That is more impressive because it was so early in the process rather than now when we are finally up and running imo. The pressure was immense back then but the players and manager stood up to it.
You see, you just made it a grand statement. He said we needed up to 10 players to change our style of play, not win a league.10 players in one window I might add. Forest style team building
Absolutely ridiculous when you look back on it. People were jumping on that demanding a new first 11! Then fans were crying when Ten Hag dismissed that nonsense and he’s been proven right to do so
I couldn’t believe how many people thought this was a great idea. Sell good players when their value is at an all time low and buy 10 new players and expect them to instantly click and challenge for a title. Many forgot that you bring in a world class manager to improve the existing squad and identify the most glaring holes, which ten Hag has done brilliantly thus far. The club will back him with significant funds once they see the success of his first transfer window.

We need a quality striker. The chances that fell to Rashford in Newcastle and Chelsea game, if we have a Haaland, we would have won both game comfortably.
Well you can probably blame Roy Keane for the fact you haven't.

I think he's doing a quality job, under some pretty unique pressures too. Really enjoyed watching his side play and it's been interesting to see his approach manifesting more and more as the season goes on, in what has been a relatively small timeframe.

Watching United now is a breath of fresh air. You will always get some bad performers here and there but overall team is playing a very good football. ETH is doing everything right so far. Long it may continues. Give him whoever he needs in the next window. We are in safe hands now.

We've played the top 7 teams and we've lost just once to the best team in the country the last 5 years. Not bad.

Didn't think we'd come off that arduous stretch of fixtures as good as we have, we have a relatively tame run of matches coming up next before and after the World Cup break thankfully. Should be able to make some headway up the table

It’s going to the wire and we could easily end up 5th/6th. That’s realistic currently.
Our last 9 league games has seen 6 wins, two draws and a loss. A run that has included Arsenal, Liverpool, Spurs, City, Chelsea and Newcastle. Despite that, and the nightmare start to the season, we are a point off 4th having had by far the most difficult run of fixtures of the top 6, and bedding in a new system. But yet you talk about average results etc. Your analysis is clueless in the extreme.

Yeah EtH has done a great job thus far - even more importantly than the playing style where you can see the improvement, the change in the culture in the squad is the actually the biggest win.

The first two games count unfortunately - you’ve conveniently left those out. Let’s see how we do against West Ham, Villa and Fulham before the break. I’d say that if they all park the bus they each have a good chance of a getting a result.

I haven’t conveniently left them out. That’s why we are 1pt from top four. If we’d done better in those games we’d be in the top four. But it’s also a fact our last 9 games have yielded those results against top opposition. If you would rather judge a manager on his first two games in charge more than the 9 which followed it, I can’t help you. If you can’t see how good results have been since those first two games, I can’t help you there either. If you can’t accept we are one point off top four after a brutal run of games then there is no hope at all for you. I just don’t understand your rationale, or to be honest complete lack of.

You mentioned the last 9 games to prove a point and left out the first two. I’m judging on all we’ve seen so far, including Europa games too. We have serious problems breaking down smaller teams that sit back but you are right our results against bigger teams have been good. That’s my rationale.

Also don’t think the the catastrophic language is necessary purely because I don’t agree with you - ‘no hope at all for you’. Get a grip

I see, I must support a rival because I’m not entirely happy with us sat in 6th in the league and am not ejaculating everywhere over a draw against Chelsea when we should have won.

Doing very well so far.

Spot on squad management so far.
Dealt with the big issues of Maguire and Ronaldo well.
Given Shaw a kick up the ass with Malacia coming in.
Knew better than probably most of the cafe in bringing Martinez in.
Kept the likes of McFred motivated despite very obviously improving the squad in their positions.
Got Rashy looking up for it and strong again.

Carry on the good work.
