Really? Their only win this season was vs Pool at home. Before that 3 L, 1 D. Away they lost 3 and drew 2

edit: Nevermind they beat Whu aswell

and it's 4
Playing better does not equate to winning everytime though

Henderson value would've been more preserved getting rotten in our bench rather than humiliated every week.

Forest have failed to compete here. Arsenal haven't broken sweat. The quality is pathetic. Whoever thought it was a good idea to sign 23 players needs to be sacked.

City and Arsenal are guaranteed for top 4. Then it's between 5 teams (Spurs, United, Chelsea, Newcastle and Liverpool) for other 2 spots.

Forest and Leeds are the worst teams I’ve seen this season and Liverpool lost to both of them a week apart. Great.

It's my fault. Turned on the TV seconds before Arsenal's second goal and Forest have collapsed. Worst team in the PL. So happy for Lingard.
To be honest I'm not sure you could have influenced the match either way, Forest are just rubbish.

The thing with forest is they offer nothing on attack, they'll park the bus but as soon as that's broken they will fall to pieces.

Were people really expecting Forest to get anything at Arsenal who are a quality side now?

Especially if given the kind of space Forest are offering
Forrest being shite doesn't take away the fact that Arsenal are a very good team, playing good football at the moment. Whether they can go the distance remains to be seen though.

What are you on about? Have you watched a single Arsenal game this season? Jesus has been a revelation for us and completely transformed how we have played - his dribbling, pressing, winning duals/challenges, creating chances and assisting has been absolutely elite.

His only issue, as we saw today, has been scoring/finishing. But when you lay off three assists (more than Sancho has all season) in one game you've more than done your job.

Absolutely agree. Arsenal play some very nice Football & Arteta has built a very good team.

He would be uniteds top scorer and assister with 10 in 12 games, but yeah offers nothing the guy.

Admittedly he should have scored twice today though. Comfortable routine win, not even certain members of the caf could claim luck was the reason today. ;)

Forest beat West Ham, so I am expecting big things from United today.

EDIT - Holy shit United were awful and boy did they get away with one today. Wow. No doubt it will be remembered as a 'solid and comfortable win' in a week or so ;)

Other than the goal, Arsenal’s only other meaningful shot on target was a first half header. I think you’re the one reinventing history. Possession matters not an iota if you do nothing with it
I bet your ex-partners get better looking with time too.

Go and re-watch the game, or read the match reports. We even took the lead...

Which of course was what people were pointing out prior to the signing. Arsenal had a plethora of talented players willing to run, press and create but no one prolific forward. Jesus qualitatively improves elements that are present in the squad, but doesn't improve the glaring issue of ruthless scoring efficiency. This will still need to be addressed next summer, regardless of Jesus' influence.

We had some young players willing to press. But we didn't have a quality forward that could press, dribble, win challenges and create something from nothing like Jesus has.

It's not an issue currently if we continue to have multiple avenues to goal each game, which we have so far this season - Saka, Martinelli, Jesus, Odegaard and Xhaka all scored fairly regularly. We also have ESR coming back who scored double digit goals last season.

The players interchange and rotate on the pitch frequently. It's not as if Jesus spends the whole game in the box or leading the line. You'll regularly see Odegaard, Saka or Martinelli interchanging with him.

Yes I would like him to improve it. But no it's not a big issue with how we are currently playing, which he is a huge part of.

We definitely need a better back-up than Eddie though, who is just an honest battler who tries his guts out.

Jesus is a known quality and I believe he never score more than 20 goals even playing for City.

Do West Ham ever play well at Old Trafford?
They've done alright in that first half, managed to make Bruno go into frustration mode and have picked the gaps in our defence due to Maguire being awful. We're only ahead due to a brilliant moment of quality by Rashford

Always do. We seem to get past them in 1-0 shitty games. They’re continually trying to crowd us out with Rice doing a CB impression but they always concede against us doing it.

Wow. United just about got over the line there. Important three points CL subway happened to Chelsea and Liverpool yesterday.

Middle of Feb if Arsenal win their europa group as them and Man. City will have two free midweeks.

De Gea having his showreel game of the season there, top reflex saves from Zouma and Rice.

Yet another nearly game from Moyes away to top 6 team. When it's been happening for decades it's not unfortunate. How Fornals isn't starting is beyond me.

That assist from Eriksen aswell.

In some ways winning like that can be just as important as we wouldn’t have in the past.

If your forwards aren’t firing and you don’t take your chances then the PL will hurt you.

Was delighted with our back 5 and Casemiro. So much more solid than we’ve been in the past.

If we can get Antony and Martial fit, along with Sancho back in form, I think we’ll do okay.

There’s definitely a window to get into the top four this season. Three spots are open (too early to say Arsenal are nailed on). I hope Newcastle don’t get it. Once they’re in I think it’ll be hard to get them out again.
