Is Ronaldo justified to say that he “feels betrayed” by Manchester United?

Nice to see people expecting the worst. Looking forward to numerous over reactions. I doubt I'll watch it as Piers is conducting it.
Good way to bury you head in the sand. The clip that has made headlines is in this thread we are talking from a position of knowledge.

I do feel sorry for him about his daughter.
We all do, its terrible and something no one should ever have to go through.

But Ronaldo’s personality has always been like this. Every club he’s been to he’s been acting like that South Park episode where Satan doesnt get his super sweet 16 ferrari cake

This is actually the best thing that could happen to us. Ironically our worst performance in about 2 months comes when he’s leading the line last week at Villa. Cut ties, goodbye and good riddance. You won’t be missed.

We signed two former teammates of his who are considered the very best in the world in their positions.

This point like many he makes he doesn't seem to realise that he himself kind of proves the point.

The problem at Utd is terrible squad building/signing players who are past their best. If you were to look at City, who have they actually signed that would have never ended up at Utd? Haaland maybe, but that would have meant even more time on the bench for Ronaldo. Virtually everyone else I can think of they've signed could have just as easily ended up at Utd, the difference is they have built a much better squad, whereas our squad direction has been terrible for many years.

Bit over the top there mate
Wife lost a baby last season, he knelt on that as an excuse in the Summer to try force a move, and he’s once again using it in an attempt at sympathy from fans because he’s unable to accept he’s no longer the player he once was.

Absolute basket case.

Dude is talking 100% facts don’t know why people are so mad over hearing the truth.
Nah he's been a cock because his ego is bruised. He's been given loads of games this season by the manager and he's been shit all season.

He's in la la land if he thinks he's still a top player.

Club pay out his contract, he joins whichever club he wants. Who knows, maybe that American fella at Chelsea is back in his ear after their shit form.
United won’t let him go there, but maybe now they just wanna wipe their hands with him.

I’d love it, Potter would fecking hate him too.
I think we'd have let him go there in the summer. Quite clearly we wanted him out as well as him wanting to leave. Whichever to believe came first.

It's the only part of the interview I have sympathy for and I'll be really disspointed with the club if it's true that they doubted it.

I don't think the club every really signed the world's best players. We've signed more marquee signings since SAF retired than we did under him.

Isn't this gross misconduct? So we can just fire him without paying him anything

What a cretin. Another United win and another night he grabs the headlines away. Shameless and zero self awareness.

He wouldn't be here if any other club wanted him. And it seems he cant rationalise that fact with his ego.
Not defending the guy but the interview is a few months old I guess. He even mentioned on his IG "wait and I will talk".

I understand the frustration about him not being left to leave, not starting. That should be kept fecking indoors, not discussed in an interview with Morgan.

However, for the shit about the club, props to him. Maybe it will place some pressure on the Glazers who insisted to keep him.

Looks like it's finally becoming clear who has been the biggest problem at the club in the past 18 months and main reason for the failings in that time.

After already undermining 2 managers and the club captain and of course splitting the dressing room last season it looks like he's going for the hat-trick of managers in a classic non of it is my fault it's all there fault situation.

His ego can't handle his body being unable to do the things he used to be able to do and rather than gracefully take a step back and use his experience to help to younger players flourish he is doubling down on having to be the main man and always the main story.

Good bye Cristiano you wowed us in your first spell but have embarrassed us and yourself in your second spell. You legacy shall forever be tarnished don't let the door hit you in the way out.

This comment amused me the most, must've said it for effect as Rangnick managed a club v Man. United in the SF of champions league in 2011. Given Ronaldo's complete obsession with the competition he surely can recall that especially as Real Madrid were playing in the other SF that year. He was also club mate of Raul for a year or two who went on to play under Schalke under Rangnick so Ronaldo is certainly s***stirring on that one because he didn't rate the appointment.

I always wondered Ronaldo's motivations for actually coming back to Man. United. Did he genuinely just think, well they finished 2nd so me coming back and scoring the goals will win the league? The fact there was no release clause in the deal if you didn't make the top 4 or qualify for CL kind of indicates that I think.

He's more trouble than he's worth so you'll just release him/terminate his deal in January.

 typical overreaction like I was mentioning. I'll wait until I don't have to read over sensationalise spew nor listen to Piers Morgan before finding out what was said. Well done for proving my point.

He's insulting the current manager and for what? Because he's been expected to perform at a certain standard that he's failed to reach every single game he's played. And he's had plenty of chances.

He has nothing to blame ETH other than his own delusions.
