We have somehow managed to not change our style of football for the last 20 years where literally everyone has moved on to playing a more modern brand of football, using midfield, passing and building from the back. Even Luxembourg and Kazakhstan play football that is more up to date than ours. Our coach has also achieved very little aside from winning title back in times when the whole league was corrupt and only did not go to jail for fixing games because he had excellent lawyers and good connections. This has been embarrassing so far.

Because our coach generally does not pick players based on merit but mostly on who is nice and who isn’t. He did not manage Milik in the youth sides so he won’t pick him. He didn’t even call up Klich or Linetty because he didn’t get along with them.

Our National team and football in general is rubbish but Poland looks worse. They don't even try to attack.
I don’t think Mexico is as bad as Poland. The latter is basically hoof it to Lewandowski. Mexico at least tries to play the ball around but lack quality up front
Yeah, that list of strikers is terrible. Any one of the guys from Sand, JDT, Bendtner would have made this team better. To not have produced a world class striker for 40 years is quite something though, when you've had excellent creative players pretty much all of the time since the 80s.

I can't imagine how frustrating it is for Lewandowski to come back from playing with Bayern and Barca to then have to play with this lot and never receive the ball in the box
