I wonder, has Southgate actually found the right way to play Maguire as some kind of Sweeper? While Stones and Rice push higher up Maguire always seems to drop quite a lot deeper than those two preventing quick counter-attacks and it also keeps a good bit of distance between him and opposition strikers to make up for his lack of pace.
