Seeing Rashford being happy while playing is a joy to see after the last few years. Delighted for him.

I love the fact I was arguing with non united England fans who were annoyed Rashford was even on the plane. Us united fans have seen him come into this sort of form leading up to the wc.

Rashford - Kane - Saka with Foden in the middle behind is how we can win this tournament.

Well done Marcus. From a doubter.
But please don’t forget the poor 18 months and let’s move onwards and upwards x

From a poster that never wrote him off & was called many a name for not doing so I’ll let his return to his usual performance levels speak for themselves.

I just feel so proud that one of our very own shows it at the biggest stage for England.

He's human. Somebody who grew up at the club and broke onto the scene as a young kid for us at a time when the club were going through their worst spell in decades. He's often been expected to carry a huge loan on his back at such a young age. Let's not forget this guy was scoring 17 in a season at 22 with 7 assists. He absolutely ran himself into the ground over the years for the club. Easy to forget that players are no different to us, they're human beings. I think it's clear for everybody that he struggled last season because of everything going on off of the pitch, which he's come out and said himself. Some people underestimate how huge the mental side of the game or life in general really is and it's clear he was mentally struggling last season.

Again, he's ran himself into the ground for the club since he broke onto the scene for us. He loves the club and is Manchester United through and through. Clearly a good guy off of the pitch too. I'm not surprised so many turned on him when he was struggling, that sums up some of the United fans. Tough to not love this guy IMO though and absolutely brilliant to see him getting his mind and mentality right this season and performing so much better. Deserves way more respect than he gets.

King Rashford is the difference maker. He has elevated himself to the status of a King now. He might even go for the golden boot.

You need to let go of this as the centre of your being. Stop exaggerating and look at his career highs and lows in context. You're a United fan ffs.

Never lost faith and took a lot of stick on here last season for it. Glad he's proving people wrong. He was too good of a player to not come back from his slump.

Me. Put 6 beers deep 50 swiss francs on him before the tournament. Would win 5000
Nice. Shame he didn’t start that first game as he could have had a few more. I think you’d have to hope Argentina go through second and somehow knockout France to have a shot though.

Last season he was playing like a 37 year old veteran striker not bothering to do any running. Completely different player now

Poor first half. Amazing second. Love to see him enjoying his football again. Needs to play against Senegal.

Its almost as if depression, anixety and injury while being racially abused is bad for a player.

Happy for him but poor keeping on both counts. Nevertheless, he is confident enough to take on players and try have a good go at goal which is important

If he doesn’t start over Sterling in the next game I’ll be raging. Sterling is possibly the most overrated player in the England setup over the past decade.

Rashford is fixed... lets all pile on Sancho now about how " shit " he is and how we want him " out our club"
