Anybody else looking forward to this? Seems to be so many good games on the horizon, going to be an expensive few months. Excited for this though, looks great.

Looks good. I didn’t play the predecessor Dead Space games so just wondering do you reckon this will be a Souls type of game in terms of when you die, you start at the very beginning of the level rather than at a checkpoint?

I'd admire your optimism guys. I did buy CyberPunk day 1 which is an experience i'm never likely to forget (it's a good game now mind).
Apparently there's a day one patch that fixes a few things as there's rumours of a few technical issues. I think i'm still going to get it

7 from IGN and other outlets. 5 from gamespot seems harsh. As a 7 seems to be the average. It will probably drop in price fairly quickly i pressume.
Got to admit I expected it to land. Not as a potential GOTY nominee but a strong experience. Surprising but there's more to a game that just combat and visual splendorDamn.

Yeah, doesn't appear to be buggy - just a bang average game unfortunately. I think the price will likely lower in the new year so think I'll hold off. I do love atmospheric games but apparently the combat just takes away from any tension in the game.
This should be dirt cheap soon then if it’s an average game that’s only about 14 hours long.

It’s averaging 75/100 so not terrible but also not as high as you would have hoped for. Definitely the type of game I’ll be inclined to check if it hits Game Pass but won’t pay full price and probably not even the discounted price. Dead Space remake will hit the shelves in a couple of months and will be comfortably better.
