Poland gotta be the worst European team in this WC

Every World Cup there are 2-3 European sides that make a convincing case for Europe not needing more places.

I don't think it has ever been the case before that one of those is actually sitting at the top of their group.

Penalty was harsh but im not against punishing a goalkeeper after he totally missed the ball and hits an opponent in the face. However Messi already headed the ball and the touch to his face was minimal so i agree the penalty was very soft.

You could say that hitting someone in the face is a foul everywhere on the pitch (players love falling over after they get slightly touched near their face) so it should also be a foul when it does happen in the box. But this wasnt really a punch or big impact.. more a off a slight touch.

If the goalkeeper went with the fist, fine. But for me that was not a penalty. If it wasn't Messi it wouldn't have been given. I'm 100% certain of that.
