No, its fine, makes these dances so much more sweeter when they get absolutely destroyed by nethelands in the semis or by portugal in the final :D

'it's a part of their culture.'

That's such a racist statement.

Are we really saying they're a bunch of poofs? *

*I was doing it 2005 style. Apologies mods.

I'm with Keane. Go to watch the football. Care about the match. Insult the opposition. It's all a bit too much happy happy smily smile this dancing nonsense.

Different cultures and I don't think either position should be disregarded

I don't like it as the culture I grew up in it would be seen as disrespectful but in Brazil that isn't the case. We move on

I think there is a little bit of that to be honest, not necessarily the moves but jealousy of the "freedom" these guys feel to express themselves that way.

The likes of Keane and Souness only get that brave after a couple of drinks.

Cringey, disrespectful and a bit risky. They're lucky South Korean players are nice and don't react. Imagine doing that in front of the likes of Keane, Pepe or Gattuso when they have nothing to lose? They would have ended up with a few players out injured for the rest of the WC.

if people did it at work after fixing a syntax error in an xlookup then they’d quite rightly be excluded from the tea rota.

Never understood this notion. It's just a weak mentality from the aggressors. Being a sore loser shouldn't be applauded.

Wonder how the Brazilians would have felt, if Germany had put up a dance show after every goal we scored.
I mean apart from laughing at how bad you guys probably are at dancing, I don't think there would have been an issue with dancing, more so at the Brazilian team for losing in such a poor fashion.

You're not known as the samba boys though.

I wasn't applauding, merely stating the fact that angry hard men willing to put in career-ending tackles do exist in football and the Brazilians are taking an unnecessary risk of injury to themselves.

Not surprised every South American or Latin player prefers to play for Madrid or Barcelona. They are allowed to have some fun down there.

It looks like the grim weather translates in a grim state of mind for the English man. It’s like they’re not allowed to have some fun.

Dancing is fun. That’s why Brazil has 5 stars and England 1. They play football with joy, it’s much easier to win.
