Apparently he said big Pep Guardiola is my idolErik and his goalkeeping coaches don’t rate Heaton? Surely Tom did something to piss he manager off
He's nearly 37, when he last played with any regularity it was over two years ago and was picking up injuries then. No doubt that keepers can play on longer than outfield players, but it feels like a needless risk to not get extra cover in. Imagine De Gea twists his knee and is out for a month, do we really want to be relying on Heaton?Dubravka and now Butland, the excitement is getting too much. Is Heaton really that bad?
just hope no stupid loan fee.
Spot onGreat goalkeeper, honestly still has potential to be world class. Wouldn't surprise me at all if he replaced DDG within 2-3 months. He's THAT good. Stoke/Crystal Palace (albeit on loan) are idiots for letting him go.
At the end of the season, we'll let De Gea go and have twice as good as a keeper in Butland signed permanently I reckon. You can quote me on this at the end of the season, I'm THAT confident.
Sensible post. Every big club has a senior keeper, a number one and a back up.He's nearly 37, when he last played with any regularity it was over two years ago and was picking up injuries then. No doubt that keepers can play on longer than outfield players, but it feels like a needless risk to not get extra cover in. From all accounts, a very nice guy, probably just not quite good enough to be considered anything other than part of the training set-up or an emergency backup.
That said, I'd like Heaton to get a cup appearance or two for the fact he started here over 20 years ago.
BITE!Great goalkeeper, honestly still has potential to be world class. Wouldn't surprise me at all if he replaced DDG within 2-3 months. He's THAT good. Stoke/Crystal Palace (albeit on loan) are idiots for letting him go.

Heaton is 37. Stop being so dramatic. This is the replacement of DubrawkaHaven’t we still got Tom Heaton? Has he even played a game yet? And we’re signing another GK
de gea.So that’s
Sergio Romero
Victor Valdes
Lee Grant
Tom Heaton
Martin Dubravka
Jack Butland
All since Van Gaal. Am I missing anyone?
Would be funny since I think Ben Foster was the first signing of the Glazers era.I think that buttland would make the perfect last signing from the Glazers
Maybe because Dubravka got recalled and we need a no. 2Yes another goalkeeper, why nobody knows.
i have a rule that i’ve always lived by and that’s “never get your cock out for a number two.”Is this a cocks out?
