Would you take Mbappe if given the chance?

Title says it all: Imagine new owner comes in and promises to bring Mbappe to Old Trafford as a statement signing, would you take him?

Mbappe would instill fear in the PL defenders. But he may come with certain baggage like huge salary, big ego and extreme scrutiny from the press. Would we be ready to accommodate all of that to have Mbappe on the starting lineup?

Would he be a disruption in the dressing room (Sanchez, Ronaldo…etc) or he would form a lethal partnership with Rashford (The modern York-Cole)? Which way will it swing?

In a heart beat. The guy is built for English football with his pace, power, skill and goalscoring ability.

This has to be one of the most daft threads I have ever seen. Would you take probably the best player in the world right now? I think that's a solid yes for any team.

What kind of question is that?

Would you rather win the lottery or not?

I don't like some of the antics he's pulled but I could imagine some of his egotistical behaviour on the pitch comes from playing for a team where a league title is pretty much a given. There's not much else to play for than individual honours for him in most Ligue 1 matches. He's not quite as self-centered when playing for France.

If he doesn't mind being a bench warmer for Rashy and Garnacho, sure why not.

Of course. He is probably the best player in the world at the moment, and looks like will continue for a number of years.

As talented as he is, nope, the player culture fostered at PSG leads me to think it wouldn't work.

I can’t tell if this is a serious thread or not. If it is serious, then yes I would. He is arguably the best player in the world right now.

Not if it was for a stupid excessive cost funded by the owner no. I don't want the club to go down that route personally.

If we could get him for less than 120 million then obviously but it doesn't seem very likely.

He's too small and almost 30. Prefer Jonathan David myself.

Yeah he would have to buy in with that team spirit Erik is trying to build and not give it the diva attitude like we saw from Ronaldo. No doubt he is one of the top two players in the world though and him & Rashford is a mouthwatering prospect.

I would stay the f away from Kylian Mbappe, he is the polar opposite of a player you want as part of a collective.

His attitude is pure garbage.

Scored a hattrick in the World Cup final, and is arguably the best player in the world.

Why is this even a question.

As a player yes, but will he be able to accept not being director of football? Unfortunately as amazing of a player as he is, PSG may have ruined the professional. All things have to be considered, but from a pure footballer perspective, mouthwatering prospect.

I think the one issue is that he'd probably want to play as a 10 and have us move Bruno out, if he deigned to come to us. I think he fancies himself there, not up top (where he'd be ideal for us in this system) or on the left with Rashford up top.

Attitude would have to change and manager be in total control.
