It was not an all action Jackson type episode, but I do appreciate and enjoy very much the contextual episode and how much they are humanizing people/main characters because that can always get lost in the hellscape of the world in general and especially in the setting they are in.
Young teenagers, figuring out their feelings and connections without parental guidance or 'sane/normal' guidance. And traumatizing times having an impact on how people live their lives and the actions they make.
Joel didn't even have to say a word and the impact the characters had at the beginning and end was tremendous.
