Well whatever my posting history, answering any criticism of international football with "your favourite players didn't score many goals" (even though he's the top international goalscorer ever, but who gives a feck, why do they include friendlies in your total international goalscoring when they don't for club level). I've thought it was a lower level of football for a long time, not just in response to this world cup, maybe I'm biased because I'm Scottish and we don't tend to do much in international tournaments, but even last year at the euros when we qualified I didn't really care that much.
I'd imagine if you polled most people on this forum (not just the fanboys in this thread) club football being a higher level would be a popular opinion, because it just is, clubs spend hundreds of millions putting their teams together, getting the best managers, it would take a serious failure for it not to he a higher level of football than one where you can't transfer, hardly get to train together and most managers are second rate
