Honestly can't believe anyone can be a Manchester United fan willingly root for Manchester City to win the title.

Unless it's a mixup like Robhinho who thought they were the same club. Ridiculous.
Who did you want to win the title last season between City and Liverpool?

Mate, maybe you don’t watch them in serie A but I do so you can try to trust me on this. They are worse than Betis. I know they beat socieded but honest to God, they aren’t good at anything.
I don’t doubt that dude but Jose is fecking Jose. He can get results with shite teams and shite football. Jose could probably get a draw if he put 11 wheelie bins on the pitch.

Lots of solid teams who are difficult knockout opponents.

Juve looks to be finding form but they have a difficult match against Inter at the weekend and play at Lazio before the 1st leg.

Roma is a shitshow because of Jose.

Sporting are a solid side under their manager. Sevilla are always involved in this cup that they've won multiple times.

Nah mate. I regularly watch Roma and they are piss poor. Trust me. Juve aren’t good either. I’d rather avoid Sporting and Sevilla. Sporting are good and I’m done with Spanish teams. They own shithousery and are jammy as feck in Europe especially sevilla no matter how poor they are in the league.
I watch Juve and Roma too and they're definitely not piss poor. Juve would be 2nd in Serie A without the points reduction and they still have some very good players even if they're not at the level they used to be. Roma are well coached and Dybala has had a good season for them. Abraham is always capable of having a good day even if he's been pretty poor this season. I kinda agree on Sporting, they are a good team and I could see them doing well. Completely disagree on Sevilla. They've been terrible this season and we just comfortably beat a far better team in Real Betis.

very big clubs left. Luckily some of them are not as good as they should be

Roma and the mourinho factor is one I prefer to avoid. Sevilla are very beatable now. I reckon them for the quarters and maybe juventus in semis

hope to avoid feynoord. They will be tough

Last Eight possible opposition for Man United

Feyenoord - Topped their Europa league group (all 4 teams got 8 points) won round 16 tie against Shakhtar 8-2 on AGG. They are top of their own domestic league by 3 points ahead of Ajax.

Juventus - 3rd in their Champions league group with 3 points (Benfica 1st and PSG 2nd) won their Europa League round 16,32 matches v Nantes 4-1 on AGG and v SC Freiburg 3-0 on AGG. They are currently 7th in Serie A with 38 points.

Sporting- finished 3rd in their Champions League group with 7 points (Tottenham 1st,Frankfurt 2) won their Europa league round 16,32 matches v Midtjyland 5-1 on AGG and Arsenal on penalties after 3-3 AGG score.

Bayer Leverkussen - Finished 3rd in their Champions League group with 5 points. (Porto 1st and Club Brugge 2nd) won their Europa league round 16,32 ties v Monaco on penalties after two 2-3 matches and beat Ferencvaros 4-0 on AGG. They are 9th in the Bundesliga with 34 points.

Roma - 2nd in their Europa league group (1st was Real Betis) in the knock out stages beat Salzburg 2-1 on AGG and Real Sociedad 2-0 on AGG.

Royale Union Saint-Gilloise - Topped their Europa league group. round of 16 tie beat Union Berlin 6-3 on AGG. They are 2nd in Belgium league 5 points behind Genk.
Red part is technically true but not an indication of their season. They'd be clear 2nd if not for the points deduction.

I just don’t want Roma and fecking Jose. If he does a number on us we will never hear him shut up about it.
Actually I want him. Show him up with progressive football. No matter injuries, no matter 11 games in a month or so.

Mourinho will be a shithouse against us. ETH knows how to handle Feyenoord. Sevilla not as good but this is their competition. Id love us to beat Pogba and Juve

Makes sense really. Arsenal are a proper club and them winning the League would have a similar impact to that of Liverpool winning it the other year. Which will be. relentless love in.

City on the other hand. It's all a bit meh... Like yesterdays fish and chips paper.

We really should be winning this competition from here. Even if it is a long painful ball ache with a lot of games.
It’s fewer games left than securing top 4, plus it’s a trophy and a better route into the CL (pot one with the big boys) - what’s not to like?

A similar impact, not an equal impact. Nothing could be worse than Liverpool winning the League, even if nobody was around to see it. But Arsenal are England's 3rd club, an institution in their own right.

Don't disagree with that but i'd take them winning it over City this year without hesitation.

We are going to be set up daily in the courts by then and trust me Santoriello FC & Torsello AC are much more angry than any team from this pot. :wenger:

I’ll take anyone from here. Mourinho vs ETH would be an interesting final. I’d hate to get mourinho and Roma in a 2 legged tie, be boring, they’ll try and grind out a 1-0 win and then play for a 0-0 in the 2nd leg. id really like us to draw feyernoord, we rarely play dutch teams and i think it will be a good entertaining tie and interesting one for RVP.

Juve are the best team left in it (other than us). They would be second in their league without their points deduction.

Incredible that in the last two games we could have two Puskas nominated goals.

Nuno Santos scored this amazing goal in the weekend

Juve are not that good this season. Sure, they've sort of gotten it together this past month, but they've been playing very lethargic. Their wins haven't been convincing at all.

I think we have a real shot at winning this. Arsenal was our biggest threat. But still - it's a cup competition and we can't get complacent. Anything can happen in these fixtures.
