Real VS Valladolid(La Liga) subbed ind after 69min.
Real VS Cacerano (Copa Del Rey) in playing 11.
Real VS Villarreal(La Liga) subbed in after 70 min.
Real VS Valencia(Super Cup) in playing 11.
Real VS Barcelona(Super Cup) in playing 11.
Real VS Villarreal(Copa Del rey) in playing 11.

According to transfermarkt he’s only got 11 starts from 26 games so far this season.

He’s only starting now because Tchouameni is out with a muscle injury right?

So he's basically a starter in cup games, making only sub apperances in la liga and CL?

Odegaard wasn't €100m or whatever, but he was an expensive teenager that Real loaned and then sold to Arsenal which worked out very well for them.
 
Too soon, Real will keep him and see if he levels up like Vini did last season. Kroos and Modric will retire this/next season so he will need to step up. Only if it becomes clear he hasn’t got what it takes, will Real let him go.

He has flashes of brilliance, especially when subbed in. His game at the moment is too erratic and needs improvement. Hopefully he can do it.

Felix just went on loan, but that one’s pure desperation. Odegaard was seen as expendable and for sale, but I imagine Camavinga is every ounce an asset-asset as in a player with a function and future at Real, not someone they’re looking to move on.

Would be shocked to see him loaned to anyone.

I don't think he is getting so few minutes for a 20 year old having to compete with Modric, Kroos, Tchouameni, Valverde and Ceballos (who is underrated imo).

He is playing more as a sub, but he is also playing better in that role.

Madrid will never let him go because they have began a phase in which they have to substitute a historical midfield of Casemiro-Modric-Kroos in the space of 2, 3 years and that is not easy.

Yes, but Odegaard did not settle down well in Madrid for some reason and that played to Arsenal's advantage.

I don't think it's the case with Camavinga.

I don't see any loan or sale option. It seems impossible to me and a different case to Odegaard in the past.
Even if he has played badly in some games, maybe because he was out of position, his last season (especially in the champions) gives him a lot of credibility and confidence

We got Mateo this way as well, generally speaking, hanging around Madrids exit gates is t a BAD strategy.

True.

But he can bench Tchuameni with good performances. However he is very miss an hit atm. He is young and need experience.

Loaning him out is out of question. Only if he is not good enough he will be moved on.

If he played in France they would be talking about a price of 80 mill-110 mill euros. So I don't know why they expect to get him on loan. Typical Arsenal. Beggars mentality.
 
Camavinga seems to be integrating well at Madrid. Ødegaard never really did (don't blame him in that pressure cooker and the demands of the fanbase down there). No chance he leaves, specially in this market.

When you see there are extremely few response from Arsenal fans in this thread you know even us don't believe one bit of this rumor. Zero chance Edu will submit an loan offer without contact the player's agent first to see if he is interested to come.
 
He is looking very good. With the potential to be one in a generation player unless something strange happens.

How do you think the Real midfield will look like in 2 years in the big games?
Tchouameni, Camavinga, Valverde? Bellingham instead of Valverde?

While both would obviously be great midfields, i feel it would be quite inferior regarding possession and control compared to Casemiro, Modric, Kroos.

It's very hard for me to determine that because it's going to be a completely different set of players but Camavinga has everything it takes to triumph. He is too good not to imo.

Obviously Casemiro, Modric, Kroos are historical on their own right so it will be very hard to get close to that level.

Re Bellingham, I think he prefers the Premiership or so I heard.
 
Watched the highlights this morning. This boy is something special. I dont know what his best position is at this point, but he seems to be able to do almost anything on the pitch. Speed, technique, passing. Once he matures and gains experience he’ll be a monster
 
Wish we would've been in for him when he was at Rennes, looks a real Swiss-army knife sort of player in the Lahm/Alaba mold

The only time we cared about possession and control was in the 19-21 Zidane period, and only as a defensive measure because we were so bad in attack we pretty much needed to keep a clean sheet to win games. How that midfield would fare against the weaker spanish teams that might force it on us, well, in a couple years we'll also have Alphonso Davies and Jamaal Musiala, so that might help :D

How does Madrid manage to get this world class talents without even offering starting places is a mystery to me.

Camavinga would be starting from pretty much any club.

By not having a ‘oh we already have a player in this position’ mentality when it comes to signing talent and having a manager who manages the squad well. He has played plenty of games this season
