I hate it….from an envious position.

If they hold on to win the league its going to be one of those small but crucial parts of Artetas management that should be talked about. To be truthful I hate it because it makes so much sense. I am shocked more managers dont do it.

I don't give a feck about it's efficacy. I hate it because it's time-wasting shite that is being normalised by that twerp.

Happens every single game and the officials are to chicken shit scared to do anything about it so just let Lego and his band of Mary muppets get away with it.

They have mastered quite a few dark arts, a while ago I looked into the PL fouls committed table and their attackers are actually the ones with the most in the team, while most other PL teams have CM/DMs high on the list. Clearly a tactic to break up play high up the pitch and attackers tend to get carded less when fouling.

Why would you be envious of it? We won 13 league titles without having to resort to this petty shite.

Who wants to watch if all teams cheat like that?

Disgraceful, the ref should be adding about 10 minutes of stoppage time or just encouraging it.

Win by playing well not faking injury to waste time...

I reckon most managers can make such adjustments without interrupting the game and asking your entire team to huddle around you

Im envious because its getting them their desired outcome - top of the league.

And realistically they are up against a team that has cheated its way into building a hell of a squad.

It’s so weird, I should prefer Arsenal to go on to win the league but they came across so unlikeable, starting with Arteta and a few arsenal fans I know. No one cares about city, but it’d also be 3 in a row for them.

Yeah, think Arsenal it is.

I don’t think these shitty huddles will win them the league. What’s gotten them top of the league is the most points.

its up to the officials to create a rule that stops it.

the concussion protocols need a revisit. It allows anyone to call a timeout without proof.

Jesus Christ.

And how do you get those points? By winning games and how do you win those games? Helps a lot when you can kill the momentum of the opponent. Momentum is one of the biggest things in sport.

Dalai Lama.

You’re definitely overestimating how influential these huddles are. Try being less insecure.

Graham Westley at Stevenage used to have an orchestrated break at half way through a half.
It was so obvious.
If Arsenal are doing this regularly it's amazing it's not been properly picked up on.

Breaking up momentum and time wasting are a huge part of the game these days unfortunately.

Pretty sure Ralph Hassenhutl was doing this with Southampton last year... It's definitely not an Arteta invention.

What momentum were Liverpool showing today when he put on his little team talk show for the cameras? Because they had a lot of momentum in the closing minutes which he did feck all to stop.

Even if it is picked up, what options do the officials have?

Ramsdale fakes an eye injury.
You can't play on.

Tactical fouls and feigning injury, deffo.

I just don’t think a huddle during this moment gives Arsenal an edge. Especially at the time it happened Liverpool were on the ropes.

The injury gets dealt with, but the refs stop the huddles during the game. Simple.

Then there is no incentive for fake injuries in order to do a huddle. There will still be fake injuries to waste time and break a game up but at least they aren't giving a team talk. Not much refs can do about fake injuries, no.

Imagine if United do this.
Would have been smart to do it once or twice when you went there. Could have escaped with a bit less damage

Arteta is the same guy who celebrated like they'd scored the CL winner when DDG was on the floor injured. He's got all the scummy parts of Mourinho without the charm and humour.

Should be a way to stop these fake injuries. For example if you receive treatment you should have to sit out the game for 2-3 minutes.. yes it would punish those actually injured but would stop a lot of the fake ones.
