About the result I expected going into this game, still sucks how it came to be. Up to Upamecano's complete brainfart the game did not have a class difference, after that we crumbled.

Same. I think that's a clear pen. Wth is João Mário doing with the hand there. Michael Oliver has been doing a good job.
What bothers me is that this game had several Inter's hands plays... None was a foul

Nope, but he might have worn a fancy jacket again
You're probably right, on both counts but I've always though he was a better manager than Tuchel.

Still, they've got to go to Bayern and stranger things have happened.

Well, that's our season done and dusted. It's sad to see what this team has become, in terms of overall quality we have fallen so far behind the other top clubs in the last years. Mané and Gnabry look done at the top level (and reportedly we are paying them 21 and 19mil a year respectively), Sané was good today but is too inconsistent, Coman is hit and miss as well. I don't even want to talk about our striker situation.
Well deserved drubbing.

 It's not like you've been flying coming into this fixture!
No I mean literally that’s cheered me up. Watching City tonight, I’m scared of them and prefer to just go out in this round than watch them batter us from pillar to post over two legs. That said. Real Madrid might do just that to us. Sigh.

I still say there was very little between the teams until Bayern gifted that second goal to City. After that they collapsed.

I was hoping for a nice classic Real-Bayern in the semi.

3 0 Flattered Bayern, schooling pretty much.

Nothing stopping City this season. Oh well, at least they'll likely be relegated at least one division as well.

Very poor half from Bayern. Never has a real threat and the less said about Upemecano the better.

It's not that he made mistakes but the sheer type of them. Gave me Maguire De Ja Vu!

fecking hell….couldn’t despise City more, but that game was all about Upemecano. Worst individual performance I’ve seen in the CL for a long time. Comical.

 I'm not!

I'm just tired of hoping at this stage of the season City somehow manage to feck things up for themselves. It's the same shit every year.
You were being very negative of our chances of beating City even though we beat them literally the last time we played them.

City look good but there's a reason only one English side has managed the treble. It's very bloody difficult.

Given how Real have flopped in La Liga this season, I'd assume this is one of those season where no matter what teams throw at Madrid, no matter the odds, no matter how longs left there will be an inevitability about it.

But I don't want to say it out loud as not to upset to jinx gods.

it's all in Real Madrid's hands now. No one else can stop City. But I don't think even they will be able to this time. Haaland has given them the X-factor they lacked before.

So happy to see the cnuts get fecked. Kicking their manager mid season for no reason, serves them well.

Yes we did, and the time before that they put 6 past us...

After the way we've played recently against the top 8, I don't fancy our chances in an away game at Wembley, if we even get there.

City could play the CL final in the Etihad with a home ticket allotment and there'd still be empty seats and a flat atmosphere.

After Messi winning the WC, it seems inevitable Pep wins the CL, right? In Inzaghi we trust. :wenger:

If some TV channel had Roy Keane and Lothar Matthäus in the same studio tonight, I promise you would need to call the firemen because Bayern would get scorched by dragon's breath from those two.

Well I think the Inter pen was the right decision but Benfica should have had one as well at least

Weird game felt very even with Bayern getting the upper hand till KDB went off. Soon as Alvarez came on, we just pressed the life out of them with Grealish, Bernardo and Julian and they imploded. In the end it feels like we should have more than 3 and the tie should be dead but right now while we're in a great spot its not over.

Upamecano was shocking but Davies will be having nightmares about Bernardo tonight, he was completely hounded all night, couldn't get involved going forward and struggled with Silva's agility in defence.

Expected more from Benfica too. Big task in Milan now for them.
