It is a depressing night for them. The event is elsewere. The Jeddah club about to win their first league title since 2009.

Knew this was about to happen  they struggle to catch Al Ittihad which is funny since they were expected to crush the league with Ronaldo in the side. Ironically, Hamdallah, their ex striker is doing far better than Ronaldo.

I’m really impressed and pleasantly surprised to see packed stadiums and a real football atmosphere in that video a few posts above.

We're not missing anything, he wasn't doing it here.
Yep, Weghorst is hassling defenders and pressing like a pro. Exactly the foil Antony needs :keano::keano:.

Only a matter of time before he knocks them in like this

Neither Weghorst nor Ronaldo have been knocking them in like that for us like that. Neither of them are the answer.

Are we just laughing for the sake of it? That's less embarrassing than most of Penaldo's previous commercial crossovers.
I actually find it entertaining. Imagine CR7 challenging Roman Reigns for the championship, with all the trashtalking involved. Imagine Paul Heyman utters the word “spoiler” and CR7 shuts him up with a “SIUUUU”
Peak entertainment

That's the League done for Ronaldo. Not even any AFC Champions League next season.

That's pretty impressive getting Ronaldo and then finishing second after all that

The irony is if he'd just played ball he'd be playing Champions League with United next season.

Or we’d have Liverpool fans laughing at us over another season in the Europa League and a toxic dressing room with the likes of Rashford and Bruno heading out of it.

Another goalless non-win yesterday. Al-Nassr is now 5 points behind Al-Ittihad with 4 matches to go and is out of both domestic cups (they were top of the league and still in both cups after GW 13 when he arrived).

Ronaldo's back to sober numbers after a hot start as well. For Al-Nassr this season:
12 goals (4 pens) and 2 assists in 16 games (1437 minutes)
0,75 goals/90
0,50 non penalty goals/90
0,88 G+A/90
0,63 npG+A/90

There is even multiple better goalscorers in the league and his own team:

Ighalo for Al-Hilal this season:
20 goals (3 pens) and 2 assists in 28 games (2190 minutes)
0,82 goals/90
0,70 non penalty goals/90
0,91 G+A/90
0,78 npG+A/90

Talisca (#10 in Ronaldo's team) this season:
17 goals (2 pens) and 1 assists in 23 games (1910 minutes)
0,80 goals/90
0,71 non penalty goals/90
0,85 G+A/90
0,75 npG+A/90

Hamdallah in Al-Ittihad this season:
24 goals (8 pens) and 0 assists in 27 games (2501 minutes)
0,86 goals/90
0,58 non penalty goals/90
0,86 G+A/90
0,58 npG+A/90

I guess he and his wife are living the dream down there, I hope they love sportswashing money more than his legacy.
What's his final npg/90 and npg+a/90 , if you happen to have those stats?

Would be lovely to see.

Football wins this week. Finally Al Nassr is being exposed that they are not good enough for Ronaldo. Ronaldo is the goat and he deserves the best club so he becomes more motivated when playing so he cam score 70 goals a season to win the Champions league. Ronaldo is the football legend forever above Lionel Pessi. Hamdallah looks up to Ronaldo because he knows Ronaldo isnt serious playing in Saudi League and only uses 10% of his skills.

Nah, he couldn't have been worse than Weggers. He would have had plenty of game time even from the bench if he'd been a better team player.

We wouldn’t have got top four with Ronaldo still in the squad. His sulking and carrying on would’ve caused too many problems.

I know. Completely. That's why I said in my earlier posts if he'd played ball and been a team player and accepted his role, things could have been a lot different.

Be interesting to see where he goes from here now. He ain't gonna sit around playing second fiddle in a mediocre Saudi League without any Champions League football while Messi continues to break records.

Bit of a disaster scenario with them finishing second with Cristiano.

He needs to retire, he’s barely a Championship standard player now.

I dont think he will ever forget this season. Benched by a coach from eredivise, making a fool of himself by walking out on his teammates, doing it again with a braindead interview, getting knocked out of a WC against Morocco, witnessing his arch rival lifting the WC, ending up in Saudi league only to not win it.

You got to feel bad for him after reading all that but I just can't and I dont know why. Only if he was a bit more mature with how ETH handled him, he would not have been the laughing stock he is right now.

He's made a lot of money and probably surrounded himself with yes men/women. If he had some self-awareness and listened to people who aren't going to brown nose he may have been able to see out his playing days with grace.

Despite him becoming a bit of a joke, he's still going to make a ton of money. So no, I don't think we should feel sorry for him.

That's true. But knowing his ego, this would have stung him a bit.
