Fully expecting us to concede a shitload of chances because they'll run right through us and the game to have zero element of any form of control.

ETH will stick with the system.

One change will be Martial in for Garnacho, and Rashford moved to the left.

    Onana
    AWB Varane Martinez Shaw
    Casemiro Erikson
    Fernandes
    Antony Martial Mount

Honestly, I'd drop Rashford. After watching some of the videos analysing the spurs game he is lazy as arse and a weak link. Half the reason why the system isn't working.

The ridiculous Mount and Bruno playing together experiment must end. And no more Rashford through the middle please god.

our shape has to better. Especially out of possession. Our first two games have shown us with too much depth (distance between Onana and Rashford) and too much width (distance from flank to flank) We need to be ore compact with and without the ball. Lack of that currently is why we are being played around like cones and are easy to pick off on the press

The shade of MG is now solved and everyone should be breathing a bit easier, hopefully, we manage to fix our shortcomings and show a worthy performance then.

    Oh lord, another game.

Didn't think I'd be dreading seeing a united game at the start of the season. Sign of the times

Is it just me or is it very unusual for us to have 3 consecutive Saturday 3pm kickoffs at home? Have we fallen foul of the TV people?

Drop Mount. Stop trying to make two attacking mids in front of running-in-water Casemiro work. It can't.

Put McTominay beside Casemiro. It should take some of the burden off him. Bruno, Rashford, Sancho, Blondie (if he's fit) up front.

    Left this forum.
Let's try Bruno out on the right side, in a "Bernardo Silva" kind of role. Put Mctominay beside Casimero and let Mount be the one doing the run behinds. Play Rash on the left and let Sancho or Martial do the hold up play in the middle.

Put Dalot on the right and let him overlap for Bruno. Then Mctominay could sweep the right side in the defensive play.

A side that is a lot more dynamic, all the players are put in the proper positions and Casimero could focus on the space in front of the centre back, where he excels.

first half was decent, shouldve easily scored a couple goals. We can talk about changes from EtH but these players need to step the feck up and start producing. All of them are pros and shouldnt be missing chances from 6 yards out with nobody around them. Think EtH keeps it minor with the changes and simply brings in martial and pushes rashford left. Makes no sense to abandon the mount-cas-bruno this early.

I agree. We need a CF who can hold the ball long enough to bring the others into play, it’s crucial

Yeah that would be great if we wasn't bringing in someone equally/more so lazy. Martial for all his faults is a better number 9 though. He drops deep and wants the ball to feet.

Please play Rashford on the left. That's all I ask. We made enough chances in the first half. Please have our best attacker in his best position to capitalize on that.
I would rather Antony play central then see rashford lose out on the left. And yes I mean the Brazilian Antony, although of course I’d prefer Antony Martial in the center

i think our side offensively and shape wise as a unit realy improves with Hoijlund coming in and dare I say Mainoo....crazy to have expectations on a teenager who has barely featured with all we have thrown at that midfield.

Until then think this is the perfect game we need, still think we will struggle but sneak a win. Mind you I thought we would batter WOlves and draw at SPurs

this should be the perfect game to start Garnacho, against weaker team at home alas our manager thought it was good idea to experiment in first 2 games.

Oh yes because that was the reason for our diabolical performances… come off it

Hopefully we'll see a good performance and a comfortable 3-0 scoreline or else this place will turn really toxic.

    What I would play:

    --------------------Onana---------------------
    ----------------------------------------------------
    ------------Varane----Martinez-----------
    AWB------------------------------------Shaw
    ----------------------------------------------------
    ------------Casemiro---Scot---------------
    -----------------------------------------------------
    Sancho--------Bruno---------Rashford
    -----------------------------------------------------
    -------------------Martial-----------------------

    What ETH will go with:

    --------------------Onana---------------------
    ----------------------------------------------------
    ------------Varane----Martinez-----------
    AWB------------------------------------Shaw
    ----------------------------------------------------
    ------------------Casemiro-------------------
    -----------------------------------------------------
    -----------Bruno----------Mount------------
    ------------------------------------------------------
    Antony----------------------------Rashford
    --------------------Martial-----------------------

As long as he plays Bruno and Mount together, we're gonna continue to lose the midfield battle. We might be able to get away with it against opponents like Forest, though, especially at home, and that's worrisome because I feel that a result in this one will just further enamor ETH to continue making this mistake and it'll just result in us getting absolutely rinsed in the coming weeks when we face Brighton and Arsenal.

Convincing United victory incoming. United clIcked after the first two horrible games last season. Stick with the plan. Martial for Garnacho. Rashford back on the left.

If that issue is part of our underperformance, then we really have to question the professionalism of our multi millionaire players.

All these people clamoring for Mctominay like we haven't already ascertained that he is trash by now.

I simply cannot see the way by which we'll win this game. I cant.
We can’t keep the ball, if McKenna plays, he’ll cock up in a big way at least once per half and lastly, our brilliant away form. We are slightly better then last year but at the moment, not be much.

We know he's shite, but the fact that many are calling for him to start is more to the fact that our midfield is a complete and utter shit show right now. Old man casemiro doesnt have any legs, Mount, I have no idea what he does. As for Bruno, now that the goals and assists have dried up, well, i just dont know.
