This is a fantastic deal. Rather than putting Dalot there as cover.
Good. We need a miracleHe look like he can turn water to sangria.
I'm not blaming him for the entirety of the season obviously. But it's pretty incontrovertible that a major contributor to our season going off the rails when Chilwell and James got hurt - just like the year before.Ah, come on. Your issues were a hell of a lot deeper than two injuries/their replacements. You started the season with Tuchel, suddenly pivoted to Potter, then ended the season with fecking Lampard who had one of the worst winning percentages of any Chelsea manager ever. I find it hard to believe that it can 'majorly' pinned on Cucurella and Azpilicueta. I think Boehly and his bizarre approach is much more significant a reason as to why it all went so hilariously shit.
It's genuinely mental, when you think of our squad composition we have 2 actual centre midfielders, 1 of them previously being an attacking midfielder, and 1 defensive mid yet have 3 (!) left backs, 4 with Cucurella in 10 to 20 years time there will be PhD students writing their thesis on the transfer priorities and dealings of Man United. I actually think we've gotten worse at squad planning under Arnold and Murtogh, to me it seems like the haven't got the faintest clue what they're doing. It is absolutely wild to me that we are signing(loaning) a LB before a midfielder.
You should work for The Sun.
That's a pretty serious insult. You should work for The Sun.
That's football fandom and the nature of transfers isn't it. One of the few transfers that did the opposite was Mount, where it was the selling clubs fans singing his praises, while the buying teams fan were all doom and gloom.Funny how views convenient change, go to his other thread and it's our fans calling him shit and Chelsea lot defending him. Suddenly we have the reverse now
Now you’re confusing me.It's genuinely mental, when you think of our squad composition we have 2 actual centre midfielders, 1 of them previously being an attacking midfielder, and 1 defensive mid yet have 3 (!) left backs, 4 with Cucurella in 10 to 20 years time there will be PhD students writing their thesis on the transfer priorities and dealings of Man United. I actually think we've gotten worse at squad planning under Arnold and Murtogh, to me it seems like the haven't got the faintest clue what they're doing.
Both statically and subjectively incorrect. He is good at least good as Shaw.
We might have numbers, but the quality and what we actually need isn't there. Now you’re confusing me.
We still have Casemiro, McTominay, Eriksen and Mount for two positions? (Plus Mainoo, it seems to me, if we’re counting apprentices and injured players as well?)
And we have two LB’s, but both are injured. (Three if you count Fernandez, even thoug he seems quite a bit further down the list than Mainoo). I’m pretty sure if both Case and McTom were out for months, we’d get something done for midfield, don’t you?
You’re in danger of tarnishing @bosnian_red ‘s name with comments like this.He is good at least good as Shaw.
Get out.He is good at least good as Shaw.
Would be happy with that tbf. We’ve signed Zabaleta with hair.
Don't be silly, @bosnian_red has never had a good name around hereYou’re in danger of tarnishing @bosnian_red ‘s name with comments like this.
To be fair, that was always the likely outcome when United went shopping for a desperate, last-minute LB addition with no money to spend and three days to close the deal.Seriously underwhelming.
Usually I agree, but when we’re seemingly so poor and it’s stopping us making transfers it seems every penny counts.Seriously don't get all the fascination with fees.
3 or 7, who gives a feck.
Amrabat might if the money saved (plus the Henderson fee) allows us to sign a midfielder. We're on the bones of our arse, financially - every little helps, even £4m.Seriously don't get all the fascination with fees.
3 or 7, who gives a feck.
Don't post that kissy prat in here! We’ve signed Zabaleta with hair.
It's a weird one innit? On the one hand, we are paying £3mil for a season of a back up/rotational left back who has just had a below average year (I thought he got better as it went on, an incredibly poor start).Seriously underwhelming.
Apparently he's a really nice guy who makes people laugh so I guess that's why he doesn't fit in at ChelseaHowever, it might just be me but loaning a player off a supposed rival is a bit weird. I doubt I'll ever really warm to a Chelsea player who is here on loan. It's also strange that Chelsea are sanctioning this. Do they not see us as a threat or is Cucurella not great behind the scenes and they want rid?
ETH wants him, therefore he MUST be good.Funny how views convenient change, go to his other thread and it's our fans calling him shit and Chelsea lot defending him. Suddenly we have the reverse now
Doesn't a joke need to make sense and be funny? How many games will he play before the CuCKurella jokes come in?
We're on caf, of course it doesn't.Doesn't a joke need to make sense and be funny?
You ain't from around these parts are ya?Doesn't a joke need to make sense and be funny?
Every time he skins a right forward or a right back, we can say they got cucked. How many games will he play before the CuCKurella jokes come in?
Harsh on @horsechokerDoesn't a joke need to make sense and be funny?
