Martial and Garnacho just bring so much in this game! I have never seen a player like McT, he should get a big fine and sent to the reserves. How can you not even set yourself up to run in CL?! I really think he lost us the game.
And sorry, I like Eriksen but not in big games. Leave way to much space for Casemiro who isn’t young anymore.
At least we scored some goals…

Conceded 4 goals to the worst Bayern side i've seen in at least 10 years. 3 straight games with 3+ goals conceded. That's all you need to know. It's going to be long season.

No offence to the Bundesliga faithful but they might be the worst team we’ve played  - either that or we actually turned up for prolonged periods of the game. 4-3 away to Bayern is fine, I’m very confident we’ll get through the group based on that though, even with errors there was some control and goals in the team.

Martial still has that magic but he’s probably now out again for a month.

Overall very competitive, lack of composure at times. Some poor individual mistakes and a frankly ridiculous penalty against.

Encouraging signs some good attacking play but some woeful defending aswell.

Think ETH was ten minutes to late with the martial and garnacho subs. Hojlund was flagging and pellestri was ineffective. Martial and garnacho had a big impact and we were suddenly a threat and able to sustain attacks again.

What a strange football match. The head scratch is just the lack of midfield balance. How that’s a pen against Eriksen when we never got that one at Spurs is beyond me

Already dread to see Rashford, Bruno and whoever we rely so heavely on piss away possession against Burnley on saturday.

Every single goal they scored was somehow tied to an individual error. Nothing wrong with the tactics, lineup or sub, just can’t focus for 90 minutes. Manager will pay with his if it continues this way like always, but it’s been like this under the previous 2 managers.

We played crap and lost 4-3. No one had us winning this match. Onana makes the save and bar a dodgy penalty....

We are still the same, no midfield, no defence and piss mentality.

But a proper ref and we probably still might win that game.

Bayern are fecked though, easily the worst team we have faced this season.

With the starting line up and current form we shouldn’t have got a result. I thought we were the better side until they scored. Then they get the big decisions by referees that teams always get against the English clubs.

Bayern dominated in the second half but the damage was already done. Judging by that last 10 minutes I would put Garnacho left and Rashford right. Because Rashford can’t cut in a shoot he might learn to cross the ball.

It’s like we make everything go against again us.

What a weird season.

Latimer at RB is a liability. Any competent team absolutely retires him and wins the game.

It could have been 8-3 to Bayern tbh. We were so bad that an average and poorly organised Bayern team looked like world beaters against us.

Eriksen, Scott are the two stand out players who have to be taken out back and metaphorically shot. Their careers are over.

McTominay's cameo was the worst I've seen a professional player make since Ali Dia. An absolute disgrace, he literally could stay standing. I hope he fecks off in January the 5k running loser.

Eriksen, bless but he's playing like a 55 year old down your local power league. Given what he's gone through, it's understandable but his top flight career is over. Time to let him go

Our midfield is a huge worry. Must say having our captain be this careless and gift the ball away like that which resulted in their final goal is not good. I think he needs a rest.
He’s also the one who sprinted back all the way past everyone else including a jogging mctominay even though he lost the ball in to our box and make a tackle to deny Munich scoring a goal just five minutes from the end. If only everyone in the team had his desire to win and not lose/concede

Rashford should lose his place until he figures out how to run in defensive phases and stop mindlessly giving the ball away. I'd rather see Garnacho and Pellistri as it least they seem to give a s*8t.

It would have been interesting if we could've kept it at 2-1 for 10 to 15 minutes but seeing as everything that can go wrong will go wrong with this team at the minute of course we concede a shitty pen almost immediately, after that the game felt gone and it looked like 4/5-1 was on the cards so in that respect we did well to make the score more respectable.

Only two postive things:

Højlund scored his first goal
Casemiro hopefully finds his form again after the 2 goals.

Result isn't that bad, but the performance is still lacking. Casemiro somehow came up with two goals.

We need Varane back asap and hopefully Amrabat can hit the ground running.

In my opinion Bayern are not that great. I've watched them more than usual so far this season. However, we are just a mindfeck ot a team. We look average sometimes, then world class and then terrible, all within 90 mins. There's no positive consistency with us.

I must say that our squad looked weak as feck tonight. I wonder what would've happened if we had Varane, Mount, Shaw etc available.

All in all, given the scoreline, I can't be too harsh.

Onana mistake was the turning point. Tbh I did fear a hammering

Odd game, we only lose 4-3, but it didn't feel like it, Bayern worthy winners, i'm hoping the returns of Varane and Mount plus Amrabat on Saturday could be the kick start to our season. Our midfield was concerning, they're were running through us.

It seems like we start very well, opponents ride the storm, get into the game, then score, our heads drop and all forms of composure goes, a worrying trait

I don't think I've seen a more flattering scoreline in defeat in a while. This is a poor Bayern team and yet we didn't really match up to them for most of the game (first 20 mins aside) besides the 3 'moments' that led to our goals.

Dig up stupid!
We're giving away freebies in every game at the moment. It's an impossible task to get a positive result when you're giving up goals like this. That first goal is fckin joke to be brutally honest

Bayern didn't play that well but they made us work really hard to score our goals just by doing the physical basics well. We on the other hand gave them the freedom of the park, we were passive and weak and timid

No fight at all

Could have won the game if Utd were a serious team. Bayern played that half arsed as if they were playing a bottom of the table team they could beat at will while having some fun along the way. It reflected badly on both teams.

Our passing was so bad today and we wasted so many chances to finish the game when it was 3:1.
Well im obviously happy with the result but we played bad and are lucky to have won it imo.

We have massive issues in every area of the pitch, I'm not sure the players heart is in it. And I cannot see how this gaping gulf in performance is can be filled with ayers coming back.

I fear the point of no return has passed, can see us limping to midtable finish. ETH won't be sacked, he shouldn't because 80% this is on players, but ultimately he will pay the price.

And under the leeches, its rinse and repeat!

We're short about 6 considerably more suitable players than our current crop. We seem to just crumble as soon as we have an advantage. There doesn't seem to be that feel in the team where an advantage is taken and then it's both protected and built upon. I don't even know what you'd call having that ability, but we certainly don't have it.

Can we give our back line up to make a wish kids for the next game? Reckon they’d do just as good a job

Gotta get that concentration working somehow!

I know we've lost, but at least we didn't go out with a whimper which is encouraging.

Very very happy to see us score 3 goals. We need to get going so hopefully that gives us some confidence.

Garnacho has to play for me. Need that energy and the lad looks hungry. Nice to see Martial looking sharper.

Well done to Rasmus on his first goal for us!

Poor overall but the team showed a bit of spirit, we have lost those games heavily in the past. We really need to shore things up at the back soon.
Heard that was the first time since Dave Sexton was manager that we have conceded 3 goals or more in 3 consecutive games.
Penalty was harsh and Onana's blunder was one to forget.

Respectable scoreline. In this rather tricky group losing only by a single goal could well be decisive come December.

The result masks the performance. We were completely dominated even toyed with. Another poor performance against a big team it's the normality now.

I know many may disagree but I do think the team played well in general. Giving away balls cheaply, a keeper error and a soft penalty lost us the game. Granted they did hit the post a few times.

But we are playing in Munich and we did score 3. Let's hope we have hit the bottom and start moving upwards from here.

Like I said the midfield is a huge worry. Eriksen and McT where shocking. Doesnt change the fact that Bruno being careless cost us in the end.
