Reports on Twitter he didn't make it to training on time.

Many tweets showing he was playing FIFA at 3am

Part of me thinks there’s at least a chance there’s something in it if he still feels aggrieved enough that he won’t back down. We’re unlikely to ever know either way though.

It's not that deep though. Sancho is annoyed at not getting chances. Ten hag feels he hasn't deserved them through his training and professionalism. Sancho doesn't think that's a big deal or thinks he's doing fine in training, or a combo, but ultimately he isn't the judge of that.

The main thing is minutes though. Sancho is neither the starter or back up for LW and Sancho wants to play regularly. Their clear the air talks were probably related to squad role where he was told nothing has changed, so he said feck it and didn't bother making up.

All parties are just waiting for January for him to leave basically. This isn't a situation that is changing. He's not gonna apologize only to he a 3rd choice left winger

Personally I’m glad he’s going and we can wash our hands of him. Been nothing but disappointing.

I’d take him in a deal for Regulion.
Because he’s shite. Clearly rates himself a lot higher than the manager.
He is clearly not shite, what ever has went on he’s clearly not very happy. It happens, clashes sod personalities, different managers, high price tag, ego. I’d take him, he was moody at City too, why he left for game time. Just needs a clean slate and fresh start.

That might be true but it’s guesswork. I’ve no doubt that some players can be self-serving arseholes and Sancho may well be one of them. I’ve also seen enough manager-player fall outs to think that you can’t just automatically side with the manager and expect to be right every time.

assuming reports are true team needs to start fining him his weeks wages, if they havent already. See how much he likes sitting around not getting paid.

He lacks commitment to the cause. Far too soft and pulls out of 50/50's. Not someone who you'd want in the trenches with you.

Very much doubt we'd sell to Spurs unless you offered us very good money.

Reckon we’d take that just to shift his wages to be honest.

Hope they cancel his contract honestly. Surely he’s in some form of breach by refusing to play/train
Can you think of a time that that has ever happened though? To any player under contract? I think it’s one of those things that would just end up immediately in court, with Sancho being paid the entirety of his contract and United getting the worst possible outcome. Full wages until 2027 or whenever, and £0.00 in transfer or loan fees on that time. There must be a reason we’ve never ever seen it happen.

So where’s Sancho training then? Still at carrington I presume but on a separate pitch/area?

Honestly have no idea how much he would cost, but you can’t continue to keep, high earning players, on massive wages.
You're never going to pay his wages so that would discount you anyway. Would expect us to ask for more than £50m.

The annoying thing is we hope this isn't putting other teams off so we can get a fair fee whenever he leaves. Who would want this attitude in their dressing room.

Am only guessing here but i bet United are treating him with soft gloves due to the whole mental issue situation as well, any agrresive move may be liable to be sued am guessing.

Boy we know how to pick em

I don't think we're treating him with soft gloves at all, he's been essentially exiled from the squad.

No idea if they are legit but some of the screengrabs show him losing on Fifa 4-1 haha

Gotta laugh...what a mess. Still some morons will give EtH grief for the whole thing.

Please do. You'll have the pleasure of watching a guy wimp out of not just 50-50 but also 70-30 in his favor. All the while offering non existent work rate. That first goal you guys scored against Arsenal just this weekend because Maddison was fighting for the ball and didn't wimp out from the challenge by Saka? Yea, that's not happening if that was Sancho.

It's not so much siding with the manager, I do think he has treated Sancho a bit harshly bit ultimately he's the guy who picks and makes the expectations. Sancho has always had a shorter leash, probably due to his training quality. I thought he should've started the season up top for us like in pre season, but he wasn't used. Ten Hag probably sees him purely as a LW or emergency RW option but ideally not. So if he only sees him like that, well it's gonna be tough to pass Rashford or Garnacho. So I understand Sanchos POV if this is the case, there isn't much of a future for Sancho here even if his attitude was good beyond being a squad player. And Sancho doesn't want to be a squad player obviously, so from his side, what's the use in mending the relationship? He should've forced his way our before the summer and made his role clear then if anything.

Wait, saw what happen? Ronaldo had 6 months left on his contract and joined a team paying him way way more than he was on at Utd. He chose that option because it benefited him financially. Those two scenarios aren’t remotely the same. Utd owe Sancho about £40million in wages over the next 3 years. They are obliged to pay it however poorly he plays, unless he makes an Adrian Mutu type mistake that allows you to cancel his contract.

@vanderpants if you've seen anything of note recently, can you share?

All points to a pretty grim scenario and as far as I'm aware, based on the information to date, this is all on Sancho. Maybe some further information down the line will make it make sense but just seems like a bizarre way to act.

His contract was terminated by mutual consent. I.e. after the Piers interview the club told him you're in breach and we're canceling your contract and will win in court, so you can mutually terminate and move on or get fecked.

EDIT - and for the record, his contract was terminated a full 5 weeks before he signed with Al Nassr.
